Charming Provençal Farmhouse in La Capelle et Masmolene near Uzes
Beautiful traditional Provençal house amongst vineyards and fruit trees 15 minutes drive from the markets and restaurants of Uzes. Having completed building work this is the first summer we are renting our lovely house. 3 en-suite bedrooms with water cooled fans. 3 relaxing terraces and garden. Built within the old walls is a fenced swimming pool with a safety gate, a swimming jet and views across the countryside. All surrounded by walking and cycling tracks. The perfect Provencal retreat. This is a beautiful traditional stone built Provençal house . While the exterior is of typical rural rustic Provençal style it has been sympathetically renovated with comfortable modern interiors. It has 170m2 of interior space with 400m2 of exterior space. We have 3 bedrooms all with independent access. The main bedroom has a super king size bed (180x200cm), dressing area and en-suite bathroom with bath with shower, toilet and basin together with a powerful ceiling fan. Another bedroom has a king size bed (160x200cm) with en-suite bathroom with bath with shower attachment,
toilet and basin, and a large water cooled fan. The final bedroom has a king size bed (160x200cm) with en-suite shower room with toilet and basin and large water cooled fan. This bedroom has a mezzanine floor with 2 full size single beds (90x200cm) - ideal for children but also suitable for adults. All bedrooms have direct access to a terrace. We also have an extra ground floor bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet and basin.
We have 3 beautiful outdoor terraces/patios for relaxing
as well as a garden. We also have a small olive grove - lovely for wondering among the trees. Plenty of space for parking. The property is totally enclosed and secure with deadlock bars on all the doors. The area is wonderfully quiet. Quite magical. We are 15 minutes from the extraordinary medieval town of Uzes. We are 10 minutes from St Quentin - a lovely town with a fabulous food market on Tuesdays and general and food market on Fridays. It also has a carrefour supermarket, butchers, bakeries, cafe/bars/restaurants etc.

Iâm from south west England. We moved there from South London 20 years ago for a more rural peaceful life. I love cooking for friends and family and generally enjoying life. As part of our retirement plan we bought this idyllic house in the south of France. We have always dreamed of owning a home like this and now our dream has come true!
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We chose this area as it has everything. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Vineyards, fruit trees, incredibly beautiful villages. We are 15 minutes from the extraordinary town of Uzes - a well
kept secret. The architecture is breathtaking. There is always something going on in the town with plenty of great cafes, bars and restaurants. Whilst the town is always bustling it is never over crowded and doesnât have a lot of tourists.
The beautiful River Gard is 20 minutes away - perfect for a swim on a hot day. The beautiful beaches of Montpellier are just an hour away - perfect for a day on the beach. I canât think of a better place to be in France!

Our house is very much a home. It has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing holiday. It has a magical sense of calm which envelops you. Lots of different outside spaces to chill in - plenty of space to lose yourself. The kitchen is wonderfully well equipped with a fantastic Lacanche range and everything you need.
We have made sure the beds are exceptionally comfortable - everyone who stays sleep so well! Each bedroom is independent with its own bathroom so that all guests can have their own space and privacy. We have great WiFi! This is not just a rental house - it is a magical French getaway.
