A 3-screen movie theatre, an award-winning pub, and a variety of charming independent stores and coffee shops can be found in Kingsbridge. Salcombe, one of the nicest towns in South Devon, is located on the banks of the Kingsbridge Estuary and offers estuary excursions by ferry during the summer months. The South Devon Heritage Coast and this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) are both best enjoyed from Kingsbridge, which is ideally situated as a base. Visitors can stroll along Kingsbridge Quay, explore the winding lanes off Fore Street, or go to Totnes' Shambles, an Elizabethan market arcade. In addition to the many small, charming villages in South Hams that offer interesting pubs, local farms markets, and charming rows of cottages, Plymouth is a bustling city with the National Marine Aquarium, the historic Barbican Quay, and a variety of nightlife options like theatres, restaurants, and bars. Train connection to Totnes and a short local bus ride to Kingsbridge's town centre make it simple to get to Kingsbridge.
