The living areas of this first-floor apartment include a kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dining seating for six and a sitting room with electric fire stove and Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with TV and basin, a king-size with basin and two singles, along with a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside there is a communal lawn and sitting area, communal laundry and off-road parking in car park for one car. Within 0.3 miles you will find a shop, a pub and a beach and please note this is a smoke-free property. Fuel, power, bed linen, towels and WiFi included in the rent. Escape to the beautiful coast of Devon with a stay at Thornlea View. Note: Guests have use of a communal laundry. Note: Steps throughout property

A choice destination for families, the two beaches offering soft sand and rock pools for sandcastle building and fishing for small crabs. The town remains a fishing village where crabs and lobsters are still landed, however it was once used by smugglers. Many ships have perished around the coast and the wrecks that lie beneath the waves make it a popular spot for divers. Above the beach there are a number of pubs and restaurants. The coastal footpath can be joined from here and leads towards Bigbury-on-sea in one direction and the coastal resort of Salcombe in the other.
