Set in gentle rolling foothills, this fine family home boasts ocean views, beautiful gardens and elegant interiors, whilst providing a superb spot from which to explore the delights of the Algarve.
One cannot fail to appreciate the labour of love that has gone into creating the extensive landscaped gardens where palm, olive and carob trees intermingle with citrus, native medronha and other Mediterranean and exotic plants. Lovely bougainvillea adds a delightful touch of colour. Spend lazy days in the company of a good book by the south facing pool and cook up culinary delights in the delightful barbecue area, an excellent setting for dining al fresco.
The interior offers spacious living and classic décor, the traditional tiling that adorns the kitchen walls a particular favourite. All bedrooms feature en-suite facilities, with ground floor double and twin bedrooms benefitting from individual south facing terraces, whilst a further double bedroom on the first floor enjoys access to a private terrace. Elegant and neatly proportioned, this is an ideal location for large families or groups of friends wishing to enjoy a relaxing getaway together.
Within walking distance the picturesque Algarvian village of Santa Barbara (1.5km), provides a range of amenities together with several excellent and locally renown eateries. Fabulous beaches are a short distance away at the cosmopolitan resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Ludo (14km), and for a taste of the real Algarve, then the local town of Loule (8km), with its colourful daily market is a must visit.
