This area of the UK is very beautiful and has so much going for it. Wimborne is a lovely, thriving market town on the edge of the Dorset countryside with fabulous local walks [https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo/wimborne.html?sortBy=relevant]. The town has 30+ pubs and restaurants, so there is plenty of choice for eating out within walking distance. It even has it's own theatre, which shows plays, tribute bands, comedy nights and films throughout the year.
Away from the hustle and bustle of Bournemouth and Poole, but only ten miles from lovely sandy beaches, whether its for walking in winter or sunbathing in summer. The sea swimming is outstanding and is exceptionally safe for young children. It's very popular with all year round swimmers.
The Purbeck hills are close and this is where the Dorset Coastal Path commences [https://stock.adobe.com/sk/search/images?k=dorset+coast+path].
The river Stour runs past Wimborne, and being a relatively wide river it is great for paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking. The Castleman Trail runs through Wimborne and is laid on an old railway line that was closed in the 1980s, so large parts of it are in the countryside and it's a great way of getting to the beach. The council have also created a lot of cycle paths so getting around on bike is safe and easy. In fact, very close to the property is a pay-per-use cycle and e-scooter station, which has a huge number of drop-off points throughout the area. There is also a frequent bus service to Bournemouth and Poole with a bus-stop nearby.
There are some fabulous golf courses within close proximity including Parkstone, Ferndown, Broadstone, Remedy Oak and The Isle of Purbeck.
