This very smartly presented holiday home occupying an elevated position with views over the Torridge estuary in a very popular coastal village, is just a few minutesâ walk from the quayside and Westward Ho! Beach.. Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: Smart TV, French Doors Leading To Garden
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: Zip And Link Kingsize Bed (2 x Singles On Request)
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. External utility room with tumble dryer and washing machine. Enclosed grounds with patio, courtyard, sitting out area and outdoor furniture. No smoking. Please note: There are steps in the grounds. No children under 13 years old.. Moontide is located within 2œ miles of the excellent surfing beach at Westward Ho! There is plenty of space for four people to spread out with accommodation comprising two bedrooms and a very spacious family bathroom on the first floor. On the ground floor is the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a smart TV and comfortable furniture, and access to both gardens. The kitchen area has all youâll need for your stay. The front garden has a decking area and tiered sections with views over the estuary, and at the back of the property where you will enter to save you climbing the stairs at the front, thereâs an enclosed courtyard with additional lounging and seating facilities and a shed with a washing machine and tumble dryer. As parking is on the surrounding streets thereâs even a handy trolley for your cases.
The property is perfectly positioned for Appledoreâs lovely quay which benefits from gorgeous views out towards Instow which is easily reached by car or ferry. Back in Appledore there are plenty of quaint village streets which host a wide range of cafĂ©s, public houses, and boutique shops. The historic port town of Bideford is just two miles away and offers a taste of traditional North Devon life with its weekly pannier market. The sandy beach of Westward Ho! with its great views out towards Lundy Island which can be visited on a day trip is popular with surfers, windsurfers, and beach lovers alike and is just over two miles away. And other amazing beaches (some of the best in the UK) like Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde are all within easy reach by car. There are plenty of local attractions and amenities nearby including Royal North Devon Golf Course - the oldest in Britain, horse riding stables, an indoor swimming pool, fishing, sailing and water-skiing facilities. Family attractions include the Big Sheep and Milky Way theme parks, Dartington Crystal Factory, Tapeley Park, and the Tarka Trail, which is popular with walkers, runners and cyclists and follows a disused railway line all the way to Barnstaple and Torrington in the opposite direction. Then thereâs the Southwest Coast Path which offers in North Devon alone, 90 miles of walks with amazing and dramatic coastal views.
