The Penthouse is a stunning 2 bedroom apartment overlooking Brixham's famous quay, with a full-width wood floor balcony — conveniently accessible via the lounge and master bedroom — making it easy to capitalise upon this premier location and its views of the quay, harbour and marina. Bistro-style seating makes this a great spot for socialising, reading, or dining al fresco. For inside dining, the open plan lounge kitchen diner features a breakfast island and a four-seat dining table. The kitchen is sleek and well-appointed with various appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

The lounge area has a pair of comfortable blue sofas for a calming pop of colour and benefits from various entertainment options with its TV, speaker, and DVD player.

With a double bed and slanting loft ceilings, the master bedroom is separated from the main apartment by a sliding Japanese-style door that offers a unique touch. Its clean, white fully-tiled bathroom has a walk-in shower, wash-basin, W/C, and heated shower rail. The second bedroom is also a double. Across the hallway is the property's family bathroom, also fully tiled, with a bathtub.

Another brilliant stay

This was our second time staying at the penthouse. It's an amazing apartment. Extremely comfortable, warm and very well supplied. The view is outstanding. Location is amazing. I can't think there's a better view in Brixham. The parking space is very handy. Would thoroughly recommend (again).

Beautiful flat stunning views

Flat is warm and cosy, views are amazing, worked very well with a family of 3. Would definitely recommend, watching a firework display from the balcony was a bonus.

Stunning views

This is a fabulous cottage with possibly the best views from that side of the harbour. The cottage is modern and very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and everything was spotless. Beds were very comfy. There are lots of stairs to reach the front door but it is The Penthouse , and worth the climb.

A perfect stay in a perfect location

Er have been a few times to the penthouse and will book again next year. We can never fault it apart from carrying the bags upstairs.

Perfect harbour side retreat!

Can't recommend this property enough! Wonderful views and a perfect location to soak up harbour life. An idea base for those wanting to explore the area. Long stay parking available nearby. Would recommend buying one of the four or eight day permits for a longer stay. Excellent facilities,all the creature comforts including a washing machine! We had a lovely week and will be back !

Stunning apartment with superb views

We recently stayed at The Penthouse in Brixham for 4 nights and it was everything that was promised on the website. It is very well furnished, very clean and with everything you need for a home from home stay. The views from the balcony are superb. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us, but hey it is December. We had a lovely relaxing stay and enjoyed drinks and a meal at the New Quay Inn on two occasions. Be aware of the stairs up to the apartment. It is mentioned on the website but carrying cases and food etc up and down could be taxing for some. Remember the view when you are up in the apartment makes up for this small inconvenience. We would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Another fantastic stay at this stunning apartment!

Fourth timing staying here in around 6 years, never fails to wow us with it's amazing views and full length balcony. Brixham itself gets better every time we visit we more options of eateries appearing all the time. Highly recommend!

A wonderful experience

Excellent stay, stunning view

We stayed here for 7 days. The view from the apartment is stunning with a lovely balcony. The inside of the apartment is very comfortable. Internet worked well. It's a lovely place to stay. Very warm. It's right in the centre of Brixham. The parking space is incredibly tight if you have anything other than a fiesta size car. It's up a lot of stairs which was fine for us. The windows could do with a clean but honestly, if you get a chance to stay here, I'd thoroughly recommend.

The parking bay is only suitable for a small car, big vehicles would need to find on road parking. You can buy a online parking permit from Torbay Council for Freshwater/OxenCove which is the nearest car park.

Amazing views and excellent location

The Penthouse had the most stunning views of the harbour and out to sea. It was equipped with everything we needed to ensure we enjoyed our stay and we couldn't fault the level of cleanliness. It was a joy to sit on the balcony and look out at the boats coming and going and also eating out at the local bars and restaurants. Location was fantastic being right in the harbour and situated mid-level, the walk down to the shops and bars wasn't too strenuous! We had a lovely week and would be very happy to return to the Penthouse!

Great

The penthouse is modern and tastefully decorated. Kitchen is well equipped. The view is absolutely stunning , with large balcony. This is not a property for anyone with walking difficulties as there is no lift and a lot of steps. Carrying suitcases was very strenuous. Having said this,I would definitely visit again.

Outstanding apartment with stunning views

The apartment has probably the best views of the Harbour, Marina and Torbay you can get. It is right above the Harbour so there is always something to watch and enjoy- from the fishing boats and leisure craft to people enjoying the town- but is is high enough up to offer a private space to relax in. There are a fair few flights of stairs so if you are not fit at the beginning you will have made a good start by the end of your holiday! Inside, the apartment is comfortable and well laid out, . It is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay, very clean and well maintained. We ate in on some evenings and found all the necessary items to cook with and had a better view from our dining table and terrace than you get in a lot of the restaurants! We were lucky with the weather but if it does rain, there are plenty of games and books available for entertainment as well as a TV with a range of streaming channels to view- but watching the world go by is just as good. I would love to go again!

Stunning

Only stayed for 2 nights but faultless all round..the only thing would say is think 4 o'clock check in is too late & 10 check out too early? Specially as only stays the 2 nights,.did ring & ask for earlier but a straight no? Not even to convine with the cleaners as to when they were finished? As in past it's never been a problem with other holidays..as it turned out we went straight there..keys in the box and was in for 2 o'clock as they had been

Fabulous week at the Penthouse

The views from the apartment & balcony are fantastic over Brixham Harbour and out to sea. We loved watching the activities of a working harbour and looking down on the rooftops at nesting seagulls. The Penthouse had everything and an excellent kitchen. We enjoyed cooking fresh fish as well as eating at Rockfish. (A tip.... if your car does not fit in the apartment parking space, the nearest longstay car park is Oxen Cove (RingGo available to book for a week) Easy pedestrian access to the left side of Rockfish and Brixham harbour - a 10 minute walk to The Penthouse. Note:- Central Car Park short say 3 hours only).

Best views in Brixham! With huge windows on two sides of the open plan kitchen / living area, you can look down at the harbour and out to sea to watch the trawlers. Harbour views from one bedroom as well. Large balcony with furniture to take in the views. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Shower in the en suite. Bath only in the other bathroom. Parking and therefore loading is not easy nor convenient. Even if you have a very small car, the road is narrow and will take some manoeuvring. You can drive a larger card right outside the building to load (whilst blocking the v narrow road) but will have to reverse back as there is nowhere to turn around. We parked near the green around 300m away uphill. Walking down to Brixham is down a steep hill and stairs. Not suitable for those with mobility issues but will take 4-5 if you’re fully mobile. The apartment is on the top floor - the third - no lift - not suitable for those who can’t climb stairs confidently with their luggage. An amazing apartment that we hope to return to time and time again. Modern, comfortable, stylish. You could easily stay indoors all day and watch the world go by.

February Break

We booked 5 nights in the Penthouse for a short early season break. It was definitely the right decision to book it as it was a wonderful place to stay. The interior is very bright and modern with everything you need to feel like home from home. We had to turn the heating off quite a bit as although we stayed in February, the place was really warm inside. The views have to be the best in Brixham. The parking was quite tight and not easy to turn into the small cave space opposite the penthouse but it is do-able. We have a VW Polo which was ok but anything bigger would have been a struggle. Once inside the building there are quite a few flights of short stairs to the top and then another when you get inside the front door too. If you are ok with this, it is well worth staying there. We called into the We only have positive feedback and will definitely be booking again. We Highly recommend it.
