An ideal apartment

Well located property. Good parking space by the harbour. No loading/unloading area to unpack your car - double yellow lines but we managed. The entrance /patio area was slightly scruffy and neeeed a good sweep and tidy up (which we did ) The inside was lovely .A few cosmetic tidy ups which Im sure will be done over winter. Overall it was ideally situated and a really perfect place to stay I certainly recommend this apartment.

Great Views and Location

Amazing views and a great location! The parking is nearby and really useful. The place is a good size but could not do with some upgrading of floors but all in all a great stay

Great weekend in Brixham

Had a great weekend in Brixham. Midships is an ideal place to stay, comfortable and warm, close to shops and eating places with fantastic views of the harbour. Parking on the harbour below, steps up to the house but not too difficult.

Fabulous views from the sofa

We often stay at Midships, we absolutely love it. It’s a lovely comfortable flat with outstanding views of the harbour and is really close to town. Parking on the harbour side is very convenient.

This was our third stay at Midships in about 18 months which in itself should say enough but we would now add that we will be staying there another two times this year. We think it is really great!

Weekend break at Midships

Fantastic location, great views. Well equipped kitchen Floor in kitchen needs replacing and some areas look tired and need a lick of paint That being said, would definitely recommend this property

Once Again a Beautiful Stay

This is our 4th stay at Midships, it is a beautiful apartment, very clean, prime location and has absolutely everything you could need for a stay away from home. The owners leave a lovely essentials pack, including a bottle of wine, for your arrival. The correspondence I received from Brixham Cottages was excellent and very quick to respond and to any questions. Tried to book again for next year but already booked unfortunately.

Midships in Brixham Harbour

We keep renting ( at least 5 times ) this lovely harbourside apartment because it ticks most of our boxes and we love it. A couple of comments: We are pleaed that the shower room floor has been re-newed and would suggest that the same is done in the kitchen area. We still find that the step on entering the apartment is hazadous as it is not obvious to the eye. How ever despite the above comments we hope to return to Midships a soften as possible in fact we have already reserved stays for next year.

Outstanding Apartment

Beautiful, comfortable apartment with amazing views. Everything you need is provided. Outdoor courtyard was lovely too. Parking on the harbor front excellent, steps to climb got easier. Best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be booking for next year. Many thanks.

Great accommodation

An excellent flat overlooking Brixham harbour. The flat is spacious to a high standard with double on suite. The location is situated on an elevated road above the harbour which won't suit someone with mobility problems. Otherwise an excellent choice.

Midships vacation

I recently stayed at Midships after staying in its sister apartment as the latter was not available my whole stay. It is a lovely flat with beautiful views of the harbor. The beds and furniture are comfy and the kitchen is quite well equipped. It is very quiet and has a lovely patio in the rear of the flat. I would definately recommend this holiday flat along with its sister flat downstairs!

Midships observations.

We loved this property with its big windows overlooking the harbour, there was always something to watch, night or day. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cupboard space for us to store our food stuffs. The shower surround in one of the bathrooms need some attention from a visual point of view, wear and tear . The mattress in the bedroom nearest the front door could do with an upgrade. We visited in November and we thought the heating should be higher, specially if we were in the apartment during the day, when there was no heating at all, that we could control. In the introductory email we were told the key code and about parking but no mention of how to find the property or unloading instructions!

I will look into creating a simple guide aside from the property information that we can leave on the coffee table. Skirting board and Vinyl in shower room needs attention, looking slightly tired. Overall a lovely clean apartment with a fabulous view, would definitely come again

We loved this apartment

This is the second time we have stayed here, I would already have my 3rd time booked if it was available on my dates for next year. The layout is ideal for 2 couples, both bedrooms are are a great size each with their own bathroom. The apartment is equipped with everything you will need and we even got a little welcome pack which was lovely.. The location is superb over looking the harbour and out to sea. The outside court is very handy as it is sheltered from the weather so things can stored there safely. We will definitely be returning

Fantastic apartment..

Great apartment, very comfortable, two good sized bedrooms, toilet in shower room constantly has water running into the bowl, which can be heard at night. Living room has three floor to ceiling windows, with great views of harbour and beyond. Kitchen is well equipped if you decide to cook. Parking space is good on harbour, but tight as council have put up new posts.

Midships holiday accomodation

Was pleasantly surprised at the size & space of the apartment...not immediately obvious after the outside steps..view is spectacular fixtures & fittings great...lovely big rooms & my very favourite "sash windows" no awful pvc...beds & bedding good well equipped plenty of cutlery & crockery...fridge freezer & washing machine.... nice touch provision of coffee tea & biscuits ....large outdoor terrace table chairs & relaxers nice creation with plants & garden...only couple of tiny points...cobwebs..stains on blinds & one set of curtains in lounge..overall pretty exceptional.

concerns

We have stayed in Midships on at least 3 previous occasions with no concerns worth mentioning, however our last break not so good. Workmen in the apartment below slamming doos really harshly, heavy footfalls in the apartment above us,lights on 24 hours a day by our bedroom making it very difficult to sleep because it felt like daylight all the time (never happned before). All reported to My Brixham Rep whoe said she would contact the owner. Result - NO CHANGE. We hoping for improvements for our next visit later this year.

Summer holiday

Thank you for an outstanding holiday at Midships. The little touches of tea, coffee, milk and wine made our day after a 6 hour journey and were very much appreciated. The poor weather did not bother us because the view more than made up for it. From dusk til dawn you can watch harbour life from the comfort of your armchair. Everything is a convenient short walk away. Apart from the spectacular views and the tasteful decor, I was really blown away by the comfort of the beds; they were like sleeping on a cloud, so much so that my back pain disappeared. Midships has easily been the best holiday I have had in Brixham and I highly recommend. The staff are helpful and friendly and are on hand should you need them. It's a 5+ star rating from myself. Thanks again.
