    Comfortable lodge. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, small washing up liquid and scourer. Couple of tea towels and some mini toiletries in main bathroom. Extremely comfy king-size bed in main bedroom.

    Excellent, we love the isle of wight and always stay at woodside bay.

    Excellent, we love the isle of wight and always stay at woodside bay. We return a few times every year. The only downside is that they don't serve food in the bar. They have a pizza oven but it's never used. Such a shame.

    Nice lodges.Woodside bay retreat is peaceful & quiet place to stay on IOW.The wooton lodges have all the facilities we need.We also like yaverland and wroxhall lodges.In a good location to explore the IOW.

    Great location but access road a little rough .Reception was fast and helpful ,site was clean and tidy and very quiet.nice little walk to the beach to watch the ferries coming and going .the water wasn’t too cold either .All in all a good place to stay

    Location was so peaceful the lodge was a little tired but not enough to spoil our stay.

    Location was so peaceful the lodge was a little tired but not enough to spoil our stay.Kettle needed a good de-scale so avoided having a hot drink as the scum around the cup was a bit of a put off.It didn’t appear that recycling rubbish on site was an option, didn’t see any instructions or facility. Only one waste bin if there was a provision I think some detail on the welcome sheet to explain the requirements would’ve been ideal.Strangely no hand soap in the bathrooms when requested at reception they said that this is something that was being phased out and no longer provided, however shower gel was provided, as well as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablet and sponges. Surely having soap available is a basic commodity. I suspect it was just forgotten, so we went to buy some as well as extra toilet roll as only 2 rolls (1 for each toilet) was provided. Just a few niggles but this wouldn’t put us off staying again.

    Lodge was a home from home. We had everything we needed. Lovely surroundings. Bird song unbelievable and we saw red squirrels in the woodland too. Good for a relax. Bed and bathroom good quality too
