The Perfect Place To Stay

We love staying here whenever we're in Amsterdam! Everything about this boat is perfect! Nothing beats sleeping on the water and waking up to the view every morning. Book it, you won't regret it :)

Great place! So close to the beach. They have bikes, a wagon , and other beach things you can use.Washer and dryer worked great!Only cons are having to cross the road after early morning hours cause it gets busy and there is no cross walk. There are 2 bathrooms but are located only up stairs. Other than that the house was great. Also has privacy fence all around it.

This house boat served us very well. We weren’t sure what to expect but Han was informative and helpful. The location was perfect, on the water, close to the train station and we walked all over Amsterdam. We would return if the occasion arose.

Boat with a view

Had been to Amsterdam but not stayed on a boat. This was a wonderful option and it gave us the perspective of being on one of the many homes you could live in floating on a camel. Loved it. Location location location.

Bamboo boat stay in Amsterdam.

What a fun time, very unique stay in a boat. Lots of room for 3 of us and the deck was so awesome to sit and have a beverage after a day of sightseeing. Han was a great host and was very helpful with our stay and getting us around. Highly recommend.

Great "Amsterdam" experience! Very close to the main train station with great views of the harbor. Host (Han) was super nice and very flexible with our last minute booking and late arrival. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique, Dutch experience! Boat was very comfortable and had ample room for our party of 3. Refrigerator available, but no cooking appliances and you must be able to climb steep steps/ladder, so not a good option for mobility-challenged. Wifi was good.

Something different in a great location

We wanted a different experience than the usual apartment and Han’s boat was it. Very clean and comfortable but requires some agility to move around
after all, it is a boat. Han was a great host and the location is a short walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go. I highly recommend Bamboo Boat if visiting Amsterdam

Wonderful stay

A dream in the middle of Amsterdam

The houseboat with its location in the center of Amsterdam is truly unique and highly recommended. Everything your heart desires is within easy reach on foot or by bike. Apart from the occasional siren, we sometimes didn't even feel like we were in a city. The houseboat is very clean and well maintained and Han is a super friendly host who is happy to help with advice. We really enjoyed it and therefore I am happy to give it a 10/10 rating. My family of four enjoyed our stay immensely. We were delayed by lost luggage and Han waited for us to make sure we got situated. The boat was great fun, well equipped and exactly as described. The location is very convenient, and the views from the boat are amazing. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Amsterdam!

Perfect location and lovely host

The boat is absolutely gorgeous and in a perfect spot! Our host was very hospitable and had also provided us with a very generous welcome pack. Waking distance from everything and incredibly quiet and peaceful. Travelling with teens so the extra shower and toilet came in very handy ! We will be back :-)

Fantastic House Boat With Centralized Location

House boat was fantastic! Han was a great host and has done some great personal customized carpentry and other nice features to his house boat. The place is well put together and very convenient walk from Centraal Station and many other attractions in Amsterdam. We came with our 2 elementary aged boys and they loved it!

We enjoyed Han‘s place very much. It was very convenient to Amsterdam within walking distance of many things. The bed was very comfortable. If I was to suggest any changes, it would be to get a microwave. We could have used it once or twice. Thank you very much!

Thoroughly brilliant boathouse stay

Perfect Place

The houseboat is a great place to stay while in Amsterdam. Han is a great host. Our flight was delayed by over an hour so we arrived late. Han was flexible with our arrival even met us halfway from the train station. He gave us a tour and made sure we were comfortable. The location is great to walk, take the train or the tram. We slept great, beds are comfortable and location is quiet. We would love to stay there again on our next visit.

A Remarkable Experience!

My husband and I were traveling with another couple to Amsterdam and were looking for a unique lodging experience. This was the perfect place for the four of us. The boat was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. Han met us at arrival and showed us around. He left us with fresh cut flowers and beverages and was available if we needed him. The location is so close to everything but very quiet. We can't imagine staying anywhere else when we go back. Thank you Han - hope to see you again soon!

An exceptional experience!

I cannot recommend Han's houseboat enough. We spent a delightful week and it was a real WOW experience. After long days exploring Amsterdam, the cool breeze off the water and gentle rocking of the boat was remarkably relaxing. Many of the major tourist sites are within walking distance. Centraal Station is only a ten-minute walk, and from there you can go anywhere. Even with four of us, the houseboat was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was serene and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. Han was very responsive and even had beautiful flowers and beverages for us upon arrival. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy this gem!
