Vivenda Summertime - Fabulous villa with private tennis court and large pool

Vivenda Summertime is a large, comfortable villa; all bedrooms have on-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning. Huge fully equipped kitchen includes large fridges, oven, gas hob, dish washer, microwave, juicer, toaster, etc. Laundry room with washing machine. First floor open plan living room with very large corner sofa and chairs, fireplace, Sat TV, DVD, HiFi, extensive books. Wooden dining table seats twelve, many pictures, great ambiance. Outside dining terrace with large marble table and chairs to seat 14. Pool 6x11 metres (solar heating) + toddler pool, large terrace with twelve sun beds, tables, chairs, and BBQ. Full size tennis court tropical garden with fish pond, summer house with hammock + chairs, table tennis, pool table.

Tennis Facilities: The tennis court is a modern all weather hard court. Step out of your room and stroll onto the court. No booking, no hot car journeys, no hassle.

Dinner and Lunch Parties: Dinner at the villa can be provided by us. Forget the hassle of trying to find a restaurant table for twelve, eat better food for less at one of our fantastic dinner parties. We do the shopping, prepare, cook and serve a scrumptious three course dinner, and then clear up and leave you with a clean kitchen afterwards. Nobody gets the short straw with driving, the children won't get bored, and you won't be made to feel it's time to leave, when the staff want to go to bed!

How about a fabulous Paella, Salad and Sangria lunch. All prepared and cooked for you and served either poolside or on the dining terrace.

And, if you would like to go out for dinner and leave the little ones behind, for the evening, then we can make them a light supper and baby sit for the evening.

Fantastic villa!

Fantastic holiday. Very accommodating owners and easy to communicate. We have stayed in various villas around the algarve on many occasions and so far this has been the best!

Lovely traditional property with excellent additional facilities for everyone.

Good location - just a short drive from the village centre. Traditional property in a quite location but close enough to shops and supermarket. Excellent facilities and a lovely clean pool area. Would highly recommmend to family groups. Definitely one of the best villas we have stayed at on the Algarve.

Rudi and Kathleen (owners) could not have done more to ensure we had a fantastic stay. The villa was perfect in every way and the pool and tennis court got lots of use. I would definitely recommend!

Wonderful!

Four couples stayed a week at the beautiful Vivenda Summertime and had a great time. Rudi and Kathleen were very warm hosts and made our week very pleasant. We were able to walk to restaurants and the beaches and enjoyed the pool and tennis court. We would highly recommend this property! Tory Molgat

Vivenda Summertime is a beautiful villa offering a plethora of activities catering for all ages.

We were a party of 10 ages 16 to 50+. The villa was perfect. Beautiful, clean with everything to keep everyone entertained. The facilities were fantastic, especially the tennis court which kept everyone busy. Would highly recommend.

Villa with everything.

This was a must stay at villa for large familys or groups,this was just perfect for our large group using all six bedrooms,and all things provided like the pool,tennis court,table tennis,pool table,and table football,and was also good for relaxing and sun bathing around the pool on the nice sunbeds.The kitchen,living room,dinning room,and balcony up stairs dinning area was good to use to help make this one of our best holidays.We also enjoyed our visit to the village Carvoeiro for nights out for eating and entertainment.

Excellent villa, beautiful appointed and very comfortable

We are often in Carvoeiro staying at Casa Margarida, a small family villa just round the corner from Vivenda Summertime, but needed something large enough for a group. We were very pleased with our stay, Rudi and Kathleen could not have been more helpful, and the villa was clean, tidy and very well equipped. The pool was bracing (it was January!) but the tennis court great fun. It's easy to walk to the village for restaurants etc, but it is nice to be a little bit out of the bustle in the edge of the countryside. We will certainly plan to use it again when we need a bigger place.

Perfect villa for a large family group

For our family summer holiday Vivenda Summertime was perfect! The villa was spotlessly clean, stocked with every utensil you'd possibily need and lovely rooms and furnishings. The leather lounger in the living room is the comfiest chair in the world😀(I actually meant to ask Rudi or Kathleen where they got it as I couldn't find a label on it) The pool area is lovely, tennis court really well kept and the lemon tree kept us in fruit for drinks for 2 weeks😀 Rudi and Kathleen are lovely hosts and leave you to get on with your relaxing holiday but are there if you need them, like providing a wheelbarrow for 5 vists to the recycling bins up the road(mainly Super Bock bottles😂😂) The kids loved their time there and would return in a second as would we. Thanks very much to you both for providing your villa for others to enjoy. Hopefully we'll see you again😉

May stay

10 of us chose this villa for 2 facilities. 1. Tennis. This was superb.Best court ever. 2. Swimming pool. This was advertised as 'heated' but in the first week we were unable to swim as the temperature was too low. What does 'heated' mean? When we contacted the owner he blamed a poor spring! Should he have offered some compensation? The rest of the requirements were fine, and it was a good villa.

Lovely villa in nice location.

Overall, this villa was great for our family of twelve (ages two to 86!). The pool was lovely and the tennis court was fun. The two gardens were great for a treasure hunt for the kids! All bedrooms have ensuite, which was particularly useful, and there was more than enough crockery and glassware. Rudi and Kathleen were on hand if we had any questions, or needed anything. Just a few small points that would have made this five star. Our party included a couple of very keen pool players, so it was a disappointment that the pool table was so rickety and uneven, it was unusable. Also the table tennis bats could do with renewing, as they were all falling apart. If you have very young children, some sort of stair gate would have been helpful, although I'm not sure how one could be fitted. I'm sure that if you love the Algarve and you have a large family, you will love this villa.

Fantastic break

A wonderful property, spotlessly clean with lovely big bedrooms and en suites. The pool and tennis court are great additions and make for a lovely holiday. The house is “upside down” with all the bedrooms on the ground floor which is a bit odd as when you are lying by the pool you have to walk through someone’s bedroom to go upstairs to the kitchen - or you take the winding metal outdoor staircase which is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We had a fantastic time - our only complaint was that of the 30 or so tennis racquets available, all of them were completely broken, so make sure you bring your own!!

Erholung pur!

Von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute waren wir von der Villa begeistert. Speziell gefallen hat uns, dass alles in einem vorzüglichen Zustand und sehr sauber war. Dass der Pool und das Haus sogar während unserem Aufenthalt gereinigt wurden übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Unsere Gruppe von 14 Personen genossen die grosszügigen Räume und schätzten die praktische Einrichtung sehr. Da das gemeinsame Kochen in der gut eingerichteten Küche grossen Spass machte, assen wir schlussendlich gar nie auswärts und konnten so das Haus und die wunderbare Umgebung maximal geniessen. Nicht nur die Kinder waren vom schönen Tennisplatz und dem Pool begeistert. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und unkompliziert und es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Erholung pur!

Super address in Algarve

Together with friends, we had a wonderfull stay at Vivenda Summertime, a hugh villa in a deadend street in Carvoeiro. Kathleen & Rudy were amazing hosts, always ready to help and share their favorite addresses with us. The rooms were spacious and super clean,as well as the nice pool. The kitchenequipment was fantastic for the foodlovers between us! Address on our yearly todo-list!!

fantastic

We were a party of 12 ranging from 3yrs to 87yrs. WOW,was our first impression on arrival.Everything was beauifully clean and well equipped.Rudi and Kathleen made us feel very welcome and were on hand should we need them at any time.They prepared and served a wonderful meal for us all one evening and joined us afterwards for drinks.A lovely evening.We had many hours of fun in the pool,playing tennis and enjoying the garden and terrace in the evenings with tapas and wine.The town of Carvoeiro is a 20 minute walk with all the facilities you'd expect and a beach.We had a TukTuk tour, a little expensive but glad we did it. We would love to return again as a family, the only downside is going home.

Great Villa

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, clean and very high standard villa with pool and tennis court. The house is close by the nice and relaxing Carvoeio beach village, just 5 minutes away with car. We were three families with kids and the house was perfect for our needs. The pool was nice and heated, the tennis court the best we have played on so far in our travels. The hosts were very friendly and helped us with every need. Just 10-15 minutes away were other beautiful and serene beaches. Loved the stay!

Well equipped and very comfortable villa!

We were a three generation party of 13 people (ageing 8 months to 70 years) staying in Vivienda Summertime July 16-23 .The villa is very well equipped, very clean and there is something for everyone to enjoy in the property. Also a lot of different spaces to hang out if someone wanted some privacy. The heated pool (24-26 degrees) was most popular among all of us, but it was also very nice to have the small garden to get away just to read, play pool or watch the frogs. The tennis court was also a plus with a training machine avaliable. The rooms were spacious, with good beds and en suite bathrooms. We had a prefect stay and the service from Rudi and Kathleen was outstanding. The location of the villa is in a residental neighborhood but close to a lot of sights and close to good supermarkets. It is possible to walk to Carvoeiro centre, but maybe a bit longer than anticipated and uphill on the way back, which might be hard for some people. However, it was a nice walk and the surroundings with lemon trees and figs were very relaxing. We would definitely recommend this villa to other travellers interested in a relaxed vacation on the Algarve coast.

Vacances de rêve

Nous avons passé de fabuleuses vacances en Algarve et avons été autant enchantés par la Villa que par l'accueil chaleureux de Kathleen et Rudy. La villa est très bien située, dans un quartier calme mais proche des commerces, de la plage et des différents sites touristiques de la région. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la maison est aussi bien équipée qu'aménagée avec goût. Tout est d'une propreté impeccable et nous nous y sommes instantanément sentis bien. La piscine, chauffée, est spacieuse et Kathleen et Rudy avaient mis à notre disposition des bouées et matelas gonflables qui ont amusé petits et grands. Le tennis est en excellent état. Kathleen et Rudy sont très attentifs au bien être des locataires. Un grand merci à tous les deux !

A great place to stay

We had a wonderful week in this spacious villa! A family of 8 adults and 6 children spent the days playing in the pool and on the tennis court. The house fulfilled all our expectations, and the owners gave us excelent service! It is absolutely a place we would like to return to, and a place we are happy to recomend to others.

Absolutely perfect!

We are just back from this villa and it was so perfect. We were having a big family get together, 5 adults and 8 kids and wanted somewhere that we didn't have to leave that much. Everything about it was great, the pool, the tennis court, the villa itself. It had everything we needed, every bedroom had its own bathroom and the villa was so big we never felt on top of each other. Carvoeira is a lovely village but we didn't leave the villa that much. There are lots of lovely beaches close by and the local Waterpark is brilliant. I would recommend this villa to anyone and will definitely be going back.
