Bertiera Family Duplex by Wonderful Italy

Spacious apartment recently renovated, located in the historic center and a few steps from the Two Towers, symbol of Bologna.



The apartment, furnished in modern style, spreads onto two levels: on the first floor there is the living area, with a double sofa bed and a TV, and the kitchen equipped with all amenities including an oven, a microwave and an espresso machine. Here a French-window gives access to the private courtyard with a dining table, perfect for enjoying moments of relaxation in the open air.

Going upstairs, there is the bedroom with a queen-size bed and en suite toilet. An additional bathroom with shower completes the layout.



*Please be informed that the city center is a limited-traffic zone, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colors characterizing its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragĂč alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.



The central train station is only 1km away, while the airport can be reached in 20 minutes by car.

(Alessio) Host was great - very responsive, also so helpful and flexible with our check-in time. The flat was clean, had everything we needed, and plenty of room for the three of us (couple with adult child). We loved the location, walkable to all the places we wanted to explore, and under 15m to the train station. As other reviews have noted, the main area is on the basement level, and all windows face the small inner courtyard of the building, which limits natural light a bit, especially in the winter months. We didn't spend much time inside during the days, and ate meals out, so this was not an issue for us. Alessio gave us many restaurant recommendations, and left us with coffee pods and washing tablets for the laundry, which was much appreciated!!! Great host and great flat!

The apartment is in a very good location. Ideal for visiting Bologna and environs.The apartment was a little neglected. In the kitchen, no salt or pepper etc. No working corkscrew (in Italy, the land of great wines!) an old sponge and an inch of dishwashing soap... The refrigerator door did not close properly so there was an inch of ice buildup in it. There were also problems with the hot water which was inconsistent initially.The shower head would not stay up which made showering a challenge. In fairness to the management company, they did send someone who was able to fix the shower head and hot water issues.As previously stated, the apartment is in a very good location. With minimal attention, this could be a great rental but if you find oil and vinegar and salt and pepper, soap and sponge and a working corkscrew in the kitchen, it's because we bought these supplies and left them.

Very good quiet location close to Conad grocery store.

Had a wonderful stay. Location was great for walking to all the sites. Ventured into student district had a great vibe. Garden at the back was great to sit in evenings.

Spacious pati

We enjoyed Bologna. We used this apartment as our base .we stayed 10 days. You can walk almost every where. Train station was about 15 minutes away which we used on a few occasions.The patio was lovely to have for a late afternoon glass of wine. Two bathrooms and a nice common area in the lower level..I found the bed a bit uncomfortable but others may not. The kitchen was just the right size as well. We did not cook but we used the fridge for fresh fruit, cheese, and drinks. All in all it was a great stay. I will mention that we were greeted by a very nice young man who was more than helpful.

Great Location

Cosy and nice apartment having wonderful location in the heart of the city center. There were couple of issues with the maintenance of the house, not big ones and could be easily solved with a bit more attention. Overall the time we spent there was great.

Comfortable and well located flat

Communication with the agency was fast, very helpful and friendly. The flat is in a great location for visiting the historic centre and close to the train station. Despite the central location, it was very quiet. We can highly recommend the flat.

Duplex property which had 1 1/2 bathrooms. Was perfect for our arrangements. Best of all was location — 10 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore. Efficient and on time check in and communication was good. Grazie!
