Villa Esquina is a beautiful holiday retreat nestled at the base of the UNESCO Tramuntana mountains in Pollensa's tranquil and highly sought-after La Font area. This exceptional family home has undergone complete refurbishment and boasts exquisite landscaping. It comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests with its five spacious bedrooms, each featuring its own en-suite bathroom. The villa offers three balconies, all providing breathtaking views of the surrounding area and a magnificent 15-metre saltwater pool that can be heated for your comfort.
Perfect for a large family or two families vacationing together, Villa Esquina welcomes you with a grand entrance hallway adorned with designer ambient lighting and sweeping stairs. The hallway leads to a bright, open-plan living area, dining space, and a fully equipped kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen, you'll find a utility room and a private snug/playroom, offering convenience and entertainment options for everyone.
The kitchen is a culinary haven, featuring a large island/breakfast bar and a range of modern appliances, including a spacious oven, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge, and coffee maker. It is well-stocked with kitchen gadgets for juicing, smoothie making, and more. The solid wood dining table comfortably seats 10, providing ample space for enjoying meals together.
The connecting utility room offers a washing machine, tumble dryer, large American-style fridge freezer, and a separate sink/drainer, ensuring practicality during your stay.
The Snug serves as a central hub for entertainment, equipped with a 50" UHD 4K TV and streaming options such as UK TV channels, Netflix, Amazon Prime TV, and Apple TV. There is also a Blu-ray player, an extensive collection of films, stacks of board games and puzzles for all ages, and a selection of superb books. Relax on the comfortable L-shaped sofa, enjoy the pool/snooker table that can be flipped into an air-hockey table, and create unforgettable moments with your loved ones.
The villa offers two bedrooms on the ground floor. Bedroom One is a spacious master bedroom with a super king bed, a writing table, and an en-suite bathroom featuring twin wash basins, a walk-in shower, a separate bath, and a heated towel rail. Bedroom Two provides two single beds that can be joined to create a double if needed, a writing table, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail.
Throughout the house and garden, high-speed fibre optic internet ensures seamless connectivity. The villa is fully air-conditioned and centrally heated for year-round comfort. The house is equipped with a monitored security alarm for added security, although the La Font area is known for its low crime rate.
On the upper floor, you will find three additional bedrooms. Bedroom Three offers two single beds (convertible into a double if desired), a spacious balcony with outdoor seating, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath/shower and heated towel rail. In early 2017, we began our hunt around the north of Mallorca for a family holiday home that we could share with friends, family and holidaymakers. After a thorough search, we found “Villa Can Groig”: a superb structure and location, but in much need of a face-lift and a name change! After purchasing the property in October 2017, we set to work on a complete refurbishment and transformed it into “Villa Esquina”, our beautiful "House on the Corner". We love visiting Pollensa at least a couple of times a year and sharing our property with guests for the rest of the time.

It's on the outskirts of historic Pollenca, where you'll find a wide selection of excellent restaurants, bars, shops, museums, and bustling markets around the thriving Placa major town square. Pollenca town is also the home of the Calvari Steps:

In the South East corner, you'll find a relaxing Bali bed and hammock surrounded by exotic tropical plants, a wonderful place to chill in the afternoons and watch the sunset over the mountains. The BBQ area provides additional relaxed low-level seating in a shady spot, perfect for drinks or outdoor dining.
The interior of this property is chic and stylish. The living area is split into an open plan lounge with two sofas for reading, playing card games or socialising; and a separate Snug with a large L-shaped sofa and pool table/air-hockey table for hanging out. Guests can use this space to indulge in the collection of family movies on offer or just log in to the Smart TV and watch their favourite streaming service or UK TV channels or play one of the many familiar family boards from the games cupboards.
The dining area contains a long light wood table and a collection of pastel blue chairs. The kitchen is home to an array of white spacious cupboards as well as a large breakfast bar and four stools.
All bedrooms have their own bathroom, black-out blinds, and plenty of storage with built-in wardrobes, cabinets and drawers. The three upstairs bedrooms have spacious balconies, all of which offer stunning views of the surrounding area.
