Clover Hill Farm Cottage is set on a farm just outside the small village of Halton Lea Gate, and takes advantage of the fabulous views of the surrounding countryside.

Clover Hill Farm Cottage is a delightful cottage with a spacious living/dining room featuring beamed ceilings and a cosy wood burner. The cottage boasts a master bedroom with super kingsize bed and a further bedroom with double bed, as well as a family shower room. As you enter Clover Hill Farm, the modern and well equipped kitchen greets you where you will find everything you need to prepare a family meal. For those of you with horses, you have just stumbled across your dream destination as you are welcome to bring your four legged friend with you and explore the miles and miles of quiet country lanes amidst some of Northumbria’s finest country. Stables, hay, straw and a paddock are available on request.

Halton Lea Gate is in an officially designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Northumberland/Cumbria boundary. Walking is a delight with the famous Pennine Way walk on your doorstop, as well as footpaths connecting you to the iconic Hadrian’s Wall. On the boundary between Northumberland and Cumbria, there is a wealth of tourist attractions around including Hadrians Wall, RSPB Geltsdale Nature Reserve and Alston, England’s highest market town. The lovely little market town of Brampton is close by, and the border city town of Carlisle is within easy reach. For guests wishing to explore further afield, take a trip over the border to Scotland or if you are looking for a bit of nightlife, the city of Newcastle upon Tyne is within an hour’s drive with its regenerated riverside, shopping, bars and theatres.
