The fascinating Helston Folk Museum tells the many stories and legends surrounding the "Furry Dance" in this busy and pleasant market town known for its annual Flora Day Festival. The Poldark Mine is close by; it offers one of the best underground experiences in the south west and sheds light on the region's rich mining history. Towards the east is the port town of Falmouth, and toward the west is the famous landmark Land's End. Mullion is a fantastic holiday resort with many exciting activities for the whole family.
