Loved this little casita! The house has so many little touches that made our stay even better including snacks, wine from their vineyard, paper products for the kitchen and bathrooms, a comfy bed and my favorite, heated floors in the bathroom! Make sure you walk around the grounds and stop by the winery for some excellent wines. Hope to be back one day!
Loved staying at the Casita! Super cute little house nestled right in the vineyard. Easy walk to the tasting room, but far enough away that you don't hear or see any of the traffic. Beautiful setting right in the heart of wine country!
The casita is charming and comfortable! Easy booking and good communication; great location for wine touring, including of course at the winery hosting us! Had a brief challenge with a couple of house issues, swift response and friendly management was great.
Love the location and how secluded it is. The house is beautiful and cozy. It is close to everything one would want to do in Walla Walla. Always a pleasure to stay here.
The Casita was very comfortable with everything you need for your stay. The bed was excellent, the walk in shower was nice. We really enjoyed our stay.
The only reason you didnât get 5 stars was the broken door in the main bath and we had issues with the streaming service one night.
Great little house in a serene setting! This house is well.appointed, has all the "nice to haves" and is a great spot from which to explore the region. Loved the secluded countryside. Will absolutely stay again!
We found the house just as described and very restful. A beautiful setting with a wonderful winery just above the property. We will be back again next year!
The casita was spacious and private. When the weather is warmer the patio will be a lovely place to relax. The bed was comfortable and location, ideal!
This is a cute house with lots of privacy. There were a couple of disappointments though. The gas fireplace that was advertised in their description turned out to be a woodburning one with a gas lighter. On check in you're instructed not to use it, so if you use a gas fireplace as one of your filters (like I do), you will want to skip this one. Walking into a disappointment isn't a great start to a vacation. Hopefully they can install a gas insert in the future, the mantle is beautiful, but unfortunately useless. The BBQ's poor condition (including a broken gas burner's pipe) was really disappointing as well. The shredded BBQ cover and screens I'm sure were the result of the recent windstorm, but you want your BBQ in good shape if your kitchen range top doesn't have ventilation (it's plumbed for downward ventilation, so hopefully they will upgrade the next one for that). One of the weirdest things was the lack of a good wine corkscrew - you will want to bring your own, along with some things you will need for cooking including parchment paper, ziplocks, Reynold's wrap, Tupperware containers, and cling wrap. The house is also showing some needs of maintenance, a plugged rain gutter with some water damage to the house, stucco repair, and will need to eventually be repainted. It might be easiest for the owners to require that the property manager's stay at the location for a couple of days to experience what the needs are. The communication with the property manager was poor. It took two messages ahead of our stay to receive a message from someone in the office who wasn't familiar with the house. The VRBO messaging then had issues while we were there. This is a cute place, but needs some work to make it a great place worth staying.
Perfect for a quiet retreat, which is just what I was seeking. Iâd write more but caught some kind of big (not Covid) during my travels and not feeling up to writing more. Did love the Casita, though.
This was our first visit back to Walla Walla after selling our vacation home there last summer. The casita was the perfect selection for our stay. It was roomy, comfortable and well appointed. We used the nicely stocked kitchen quite a bit, never felt cramped and quickly felt at home. The setting is peaceful and pretty. It was very quiet. This will be our home away from home whenever we return to visit Walla Walla.
Perfect spot and location for our anniversary getaway!
This property was lovely. Perfect for our anniversary getaway. It was close to all the wineries we wanted to visit and just a short drive from downtown Walla Walla. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable bed, beautiful grounds, Netflix and wi-fi, plus complimentary snacks and wine. Highly recommend. We will be back!
We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet, peaceful home on the grounds of Feliciana de Castillo. The kitchen is fully equipped and the home is incredibly comfortable. The owners were responsive to our questions and so accommodating. I would highly recommend this location!
A lovely house in the back of a winery. Comfortable and quiet (most of the time.) Two things to comment. One, a small one, a tea kettle to boil water would have been nice - I could not find one in an otherwise well equipped kitchen. The other, a bit more serious, issue is that one day two gentleman came on a truck and proceeded to spray Roundup around the house while we had all the doors open on a sunny day. They did not talk to us when they started and were not discouraged by my complaint. On another day, we were woken up by grass mowing and leaf blowing right outside our windows before 8AM. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay.
If you're looking to get away from it all, this is the place. The house is charming. Walla Walla is just about 10 minutes away, an easy drive to get groceries or go out to eat. Please know that you do have to go on dirt or gravel roads to get here. Your car will not stay clean. I do have a couple of small recommdations for the owners/management to make this an even more enjoyable time away.
"It is our hope to provide you with outstanding wine and a memorable experience for you, your family and friends. Our winery design was inspired by the Southern region of Spain called Andalucia where the majestic blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean meets up with the stark white buildings and Terra Cotta tile roofs of Los Pueblos Blancos."
