About this space
A recently renovated 1 bedroom, ground floor flat facing York City Bar Walls. The property comes equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It has become very popular for long term stays for those wishing to work from home or self isolation purposes.
Ideally located just a 5 minute walk into York city centre and minutes from the popular and vibrant 'Bishy Road' and local amenities. It is the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring this beautiful city.
The space
This lovely flat is on the ground floor of a newly renovated Victorian house. The communal entrance is shared with only one other flat but the rear yard is completely private to the ground floor. The lovely courtyard has a unique view on York City Walls and is exclusively for the use of this property.
The inside space consists of an open plan kitchen diner and living room.
In the colorfully decorated living space, you have a Smart TV with freeview and internet access, a double sofa and plenty of extra seating by the bay windows. Plus there is a table and chairs.
The bedroom is decorated in a teal art Deco style and contains a double bed and plenty of guest storage.
The kitchen consists of an under counter fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and Nespresso machine.
The shower room includes a shower unit, toilet and wash hand basin.
There will be some complimentary tea/coffee waiting for you which I am sure will be useful for those arriving after a long journey!
Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items included are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll, which will last a couple of days. If wish to purchase more for your stay there is a Sainsbury's Local and Costcutters a few minutes walk away on Bishopthorpe Road.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire flat.
Other things to note
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.
LOCATION
My flat is located on a one way system close to the city centre. Due to the central location, there are no parking facilities included. Nunnery Lane 24/7 Car park is very close by, approximately a 2 minutes' walk away. York Train Station is also just a 10 minute walk away from the property
ADDITIONAL
We operate a strict no party policy and please respect my neighbors by keeping tv, voice and music very low after 10pm.

Everything you might need just a 1 minute walk away on Bishopthorpe Road. Costcutters, Sainsbury's local, 2 x green grocers and butchers. Larger supermarkets Morrisons, Waitrose and Sainsburys can all be found just outside the inner ring road and are a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive.
Local Restaurants
Go to Bishopthorpe Road parade for a choice of Thai, Sicilian, Indian, Chinese and contemporary British. Award winning pubs : The Swan and Slip Inn. (Both real ale pubs), Angel on the Green - trendy bar, pizza, coffee and cake! Local coffee shops including the award winning Pig and Pastry are located on Bishopthorpe Road. Across Skeldergate Bridge into the city centre, there are a large volume of bars and restaurants to meet all tastes.
Local Attractions
Rowntree Park is a 5 minute walk. Enjoy walks down by the River Ouse. York Minster is a 15 minute walk. Jorvik Viking Centre is a 5 minute walk. Railway Museum is a 20 minute walk. York Dungeons is a 5 minute walk. Many National Trust properties in the city centre and the Tourist Information Centre is located on 1 Museum St, York YO1 7DT which is a 15 minute walk. I recommend to walk on York City Walls (access at Victoria Bar, only 100 meters from the flat)

Only a 10 minutes walk from York train station or 2 minute taxi ride.

Only 50 metres from the property, on Nunnery Lane.
