My partner and I had a great stay in this lovely little flat. Great location with tons of restaurants and shops nearby. Highly recommend leaving time for the steam room. What a treat! I would definitely visit again.
Appartement is fijn maar mag wel wat meer aandacht worden besteed aan inrichting. Een goed matras en kussens en potten, pannen, snijplank etc waren onbruikbaar. Als dat in orde is dan helemaal prima!
My stay was between pretty good and just okay. Below is a summary of pros and cons during my 5 day stay.Cons:- I was sent the wrong address prior to my arrival and when I tried calling the host for clarification, I could not get a response for hours. Luckily, I used common sense and process of elimination to pick the right address to navigate to.- Once I arrived at the property, it was difficult to find the actual unit as it's located downstairs in the building behind what looks like two exit doors. - This unit feels like a basement that has been renovated which it was very nicely but keep in mind that there are people upstairs on either side. You will hear VERY loud foot steps and banging all day.- I advise against using the washer/dryer provided. I tried to wash my travel clothes before departing and my top and bottoms were still soaking wet after 3 hours in the dryer.- I understand that Laurence was not onsite during my stay and was reachable through WhatsApp. Unfortunately, it was difficult to hear from him in a timely manner. -There is no fridge or microwave to store or heat up food. Also, bring your own water bottles as there were none.Pros:- This apartment is roughly 3 miles from central London, making getting to tourist attractions and restaurants easy and affordable.- The unit was very clean and pretty comfy despite being small.-The shower and steam room are nice and easy to use.- Towels and linen are provided.
Alles prima geklappt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war super. Auf Fragen kam sehr schnell eine Antwort.
Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt, auch wenn das Bett etwas zu weich war.
This property is a roomy basement bachelor apartment. There was no direct interaction with the host - keys were retrieved from an external lockbox (located very low to the ground and as a result somewhat difficult to open). Access is via the rear garden (through a gate with a pushbutton lock). You have to navigate a couple of short flights of steep stone stairs with no railings, tricky during inclement weather and at night (there are no external lights). They are especially challenging with heavy luggage. Entrance to the flat itself is via the French Windows. These are the only source of natural light but despite that the space did not feel gloomy or oppressive. The bed area is right by these windows, once passed it there is a seating area and thence to either the narrow kitchen or to the bathroom. The TV is mounted high on the wall so can really only can be viewed from the bed. There is not a lot of storage space, unfortunately; no closet or chest of draws. Some wall mounted hooks and a low open-faced storage rack is all that is available. The kitchen is modern and uncluttered with a induction stove/oven and a small refrigerator. It was lacking a some basics such as a microwave and toaster. As well the dishes, cups, glasses etc. were limited in number and seemed to be random items from a thrift store. The bathroom is roomy and modern and. the large steam shower was great. There is not a lot of air flow, however, so remains damp. All this to say it was a pleasant week's stay.
The property was clean, had a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, and an exceptional bathroom. Check in was easy and communication from the host was quite good. The nearest tube station was a five minute walk. We would stay there again. The neighborhood wasnât the greatest but we always felt safe and found some good restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much.
