Stunning lodge with a double bedroom with en suite, and a twin bedroom with two single beds, bathroom, open plan lounge/dining area and well-equipped kitchen, French doors to a private decked area with sunken hot tub and seating area. The kitchen features a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler, washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is also a utility room with a sink for washing boots. Fibre-optic Wi-Fi. The perfect place to relax and explore.

We arrived at was really happy with the location and the surroundings of the lodge. On entrance we were shocked at the space and the set up it was lovely, the welcome pack was a nice touch and maverick loaded the doggy bits. The local pub the shovels had a lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. All in all I would highly recommend

Amazing Lodges with fantastic facilities and welcome packs that we didn't expect. Home from home.I left my phone in the lodge and I didn't realise until I was home. A lady found it and handed it in to the office. I called Hambleton when I got home and Ian said he would post it to me. If that's not going above and beyond I don't know what is. Well done team ðƾ‘ and a big thank you!!!We will definitely be back.

Our 4th time here and it never disappoints The lodges have everything you need for your stay, washing machine, tumble dryer, smart tvñ€ℱs and WiFi and also a hot tub for each lodge.The surrounding area is so peaceful and you have a Spar, fish & chip shop and kebab take away right across the road and Chinese and Indian takeaways that deliver via just eat so the area really has everything you could ask for.We love this place so much that we are staying another 7 nights and probably wonñ€ℱt want to leave at the end of it!!

Weñ€ℱve just got back from a 7 night stay in the Lakeside Retreat. We had a great week in the well designed lodge. Proñ€ℱs:Very light and airy.Huge Hot Tub Plenty of towels provided!Washer and Dryer meant we didnñ€ℱt have to lake as much and also meant we returned home with next to no washing to do.Lovely quiet park.The lodge was clean but also had a hoover and mop bucket in which meant we were able to keep it clean for the week we were there.2x Fans were provided which was great as these lodges do keep their heat!Loved the little welcome packs.Smart TVñ€ℱs throughout the lodge was great as well!Conñ€ℱs:We struggles for fridge space as the lodge had a small integrated Fridge with small box freezer in the top taking up space. Personally weñ€ℱd have been happier without the freezer so we could have had the full space in the fridge.The mattress was very springy and noisy. It wasnñ€ℱt uncomfortable however we often got woken up during the night while we were turning over due loud bangs from the springs.

We had a week available to get away but had a dog to consider as minder was away, and also couldn't be to far from home in case we were needed as a family member was poorly. If i am honest we probably would have overlooked this venue if it wasn't for our circumstances. I am so Glad things were as they was, because it led us to find a real Gem of a venue right on our doorstep. Dog friendly lodges which were fantastic, well equipped and a hot tub perfect. Your not too far away from local shops/takeaways/pub within walking distance to keep you well stocked up. The local pub offers an added 10% off meals if you mention your staying at the lodges. There are lovely individual pools/waters with thriving wildlife Rabbits/Ducks/Swans to keep you company. Its a great spot and it ticked our boxes. The Host Ian was very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. i asked about fishing on the pond and he told me to just go for it. absolutely brilliant venue with amazing lodges, and we will be back for sure.

As the park development is fairly recent it does feel a bit exposed, we saw trees being planted whilst there so once these have become established it will feel more secluded.The lodges are of a very good quality containing everything needed for an enjoyable stay.The living area is very spacious and comfortable with views over the ponds.Plenty of wildlife spotted with resident swans popping their heads up to see if anything was forthcoming, apparently bread is good for them.Parking right by the side made it easy to get my 89 years old mil in and out of the property.Just across the way is a petrol station with a very well stocked SPAR shop, in the same location is a chippy although we never got to try this.The only criticism I could find was with the en suite bathroom lights, these came on by a sensor which was fine most of the time but in the middle of the night it felt like searchlights from Colditz had been trained upon you ðƞ€£ðƞ€£ðƞ€£.

Lovely lodges one of better ones we have stayed in - very modern & the outlook over the lakes were fab plus the visits from the swans & ducks daily was a bonus. Had everything you needed for a weeks stay ie Hoover, iron, ironing board, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, large towels for hot tub, dressing gowns & slippers. This was really helpful as the weather wasn't great but that can't be helped.Great location, not too far from Blackpool & surrounding villages like Poulton & Fleetwood. Nice pub within walking distance & some great takeaways over the road, they are a must try as we're delicious.You are next to a main road but you honestly don't hear it.Marked down slightly as we had a Couple of issues with the lodge 13 (unlucky for some) which were fixed very quickly by Ian, but must say there were a few chips in walls throughout and roman blinds not hooked up to walls but this is just wear & tear.Would have loved to come back next year but prices have rocketed up. Thanks again for a nice relaxing week away
