Chalet Emilie is a beautifully restored 19th century family home in the Haut Villard area of the village of Sainte Foy Tarentaise. Having purchased the property in 2016, it has been lovingly renovated to be a holiday home for our young family and to offer you a fantastic base for your holiday in the French Alps.

Sainte Foy Tarentaise is nestled in the French Alps and offers an array of incredible ski and hiking terrain a short drive away in the resorts of Sainte Foy, Villaroger, les Arcs, La Rosière, Val d’Isere and Tignes amongst others.

Chalet Emilie is arranged over four floors. You enter the house into the open plan living space with its vaulted wooden roof, large windows and underfloor heating throughout. The beautiful modern kitchen with induction hob sits next to a large farmhouse style dining table and two sofas offer a lovely area to relax after a busy day hiking or skiing. Large bifold doors let in lots of natural light and lead out to the balcony.

Stairs lead up to the mezzanine master suite with bedroom (king or twin) and elegant walkway over the living area below leading to a bathroom with views from the shower and bath out to snow-capped Mont Pourri. From here you can walk out to a private balcony overlooking the mountains which offers a peaceful place to relax away from the main living area of the house.

Stairs lead down from the living area to a beautifully calm second bedroom (king or twin) with en-suite bathroom and a third bedroom (king) also with en-suite bathroom.

The lower ground floor offers an elegant one bedroomed apartment with sliding door separating the bedroom from a cosy living space with kitchenette, television and double sofa bed. The apartment has a beautiful bathroom with shower. The apartment offers a perfect space to host visitors, teenagers or a small family who can operate independently from the rest of the house. The apartment has its own separate street access from a side door to the property and can be closed off from the rest of the house if needed.

Just a short walk away is the beautiful Hotel le Monal, opened in 1888 with its renowned restaurant and wine bar and the village of Sainte Foy Tarentaise offers a small shop with fresh pastries and bread each morning. Within the village is also a medical centre, two childrens’ playgrounds and tennis courts.
