The bedrooms consist of a king-size with an en-suite, a twin and a child's bunk bedroom, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with patio, decking, two barbecues, furniture and off-road parking for three cars. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. There is a highchair and stairgate available on request. Apologies, no pets and no smoking allowed. Scafell makes a wonderful base anytime of the year.

Lake Windermere offers lakefront attractions such as the Aquarium and Grizedale Forest Park. Children will love the World of Beatrix Potter in adjacent Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. Troutbeck Bridge is convenient to Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick, and the Lakeland Mountains.
