This bungalow has a kitchen, dining room, sitting room with electric fire, a conservatory, a garage, a king-size bedroom with TV and en-suite, a double, and a twin, serviced by a bathroom. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and coffee machine, for a Smart TV for entertainment. Outside there is an enclosed, wrap-around garden with lawn, patio, several sets of furniture, and a chimenea, limited off-road parking for one small car in front of garage, plus additional roadside parking.. One well-behaved dog welcomed but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a highchair and travel cot. You'll find a shop in 0.5 miles and a pub in 0.3 miles. Escape to Cumbria at The Bird's Nest. Note: The washer/dryer is housed in the garage. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am.

Brockhole, which offers high wire tree top experiences, is three miles away, and the historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside and Troutbeck are a short drive away. There is also a variety of watersports on offer for the more energetic at marine centres along the lake.
