Digne Cottage est un magnifique chalet »de guérite», parfaitement adapté aux couples à la recherche d'un séjour romantique dans un endroit isolé merveilleux. La propriété a été récemment donné une make-over complète et la finition de haute spécification est évident partout, avec le nouveau chêne et sol en ardoise, tapis, cuisine et plus encore. Le Worthy Cottage est situé à l'entrée du Worthy Manor, dont les terrains et les jardins ont été présentés dans le magazine Country Life.

Absolutely Peace

What a lovely property. Tucked away off a very quiet lane. Comfy, cosy. Small private garden, woodland to rear and the sound of the waves to the front. Everything you need ( a radio would be nice) . Minutes away either walking down the hill or driving to Porlock Weir. Feeling rejuvinated.

The pubs and the locals in Porlock Weir were fantastic, very accommodating with our dogs and the food was amazing, we really liked the "Bottom" Ship Inn and had a fantastic Christmas lunch at the "Top" Ship Inn, neither pub could be faulted. The cottage is in a great location for many, many walks, such a beautiful area.

Porlock Weir is a picturesque harbour village on the Exmoor National Park coastline in Somerset, with a history stretching back to the 15th century. The small tidal harbour, with its ancient lock gates and pebble beach, sits at the heart of a thriving community.



You'll find a welcoming pub, restaurants ranging from relaxed dining to Michelin-listed Italian cuisine, cosy cafes, and a popular street food takeaway -- all within walking distance of the harbour. Independent shops and galleries line the lanes, including Exmoor Glass, the Harbour Gallery, and Porlock Bay Oysters, which opened expanded premises in 2024.



The larger village of Porlock is approximately one mile away and has a broader range of amenities including grocery shops, a traditional butcher, chemist, cash machine, hardware shop, visitor centre, and a selection of independent restaurants and tea rooms. Most shops in Porlock and Porlock Weir keep hours of 9am to 5pm, often extending during the summer season.



Porlock Weir was recently used as a filming location for The Salt Path, the adaptation of Raynor Winn's bestselling memoir about walking the South West Coast Path.
