Elegant 2 Bedroom City Centre Apartment - Free Parking - Private Balcony

This lovely 2-bedroom apartment offers excellent amenities and a convenient location, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests. Each of the two spacious bedrooms features a double bed and ample storage with large wardrobes. The inviting living room is furnished with two double sofa beds, although we advise against using these for very tall guests.



All rooms are well-proportioned and easily accessible from the main hallway. The apartment includes two full bathrooms—one ensuite with both a shower and bath and a second off the hallway featuring a large walk-in shower. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area are perfect for preparing and enjoying meals together, equipped with all the essentials you’ll need for a comfortable stay.



Located on a higher level, the building is equipped with an elevator, so there’s no need to worry about climbing stairs.



There is also ample free parking available nearby, making it convenient for those travelling by car.



Our check-in method is simple and convenient: Self-check-in is the only option, with the key securely stored in a key safe at the property.



The location is fantastic for quickly and easily commuting throughout Edinburgh. While the surrounding area is predominantly homely and residential, you’re less than a 5-minute walk from various shops and a retail park. The city centre is conveniently just a 10-minute drive away and only 20 minutes on foot, giving you easy access to Edinburgh's vibrant attractions.

Fabulous Stay

Fabulous stay here with my family as my youngest had a cheer competition close by. This was the perfect location, being only a 5/7 minute drive from Meadowbank Sport Centre.

Property was clean. Carpet stained and needs updated. Had problems with no hot water for the first 24 hours plus, lots of construction on the building also.

Good location, walking distance to Royal Mile

Once we found the correct building in the complex, check-in was easy. There is a elevator in the building. The kitchen was well provisioned with grocery stores nearby. We were expecting a shower in the ensuite but there was a tub only. The furniture pictured in the dining room was not what is there - only a round metal table with plastic chairs. The balcony has been taken over by pigeons, very filthy and completely unusable. The carpets could stand to be cleaned or replaced. The location is within walking distance of the sites we wanted to see.

There is nothing elegant about this apartment. Property was not ready at the 4:00 time as specified. The key was not in the lock box and we had to contact the property manager multiple times. We were finally able to get into the property at about 4:15. The photos of the property were misleading and the place was well worn and many of the furnishings were low quality and not those represented in the pictures. The property was advertised as having a balcony, but it was so covered with bird poop and blocked by the couch that it was unusable. The area around the property has no access to any shops easily accessible. The access to city attractions was poor. Cab or bus transportation is necessary to access any of the attractions of Edinburgh. The overall appearance of the complex and neighborhood was shabby and somewhat rundown. If you are looking to experience the ambiance and feel and attractions of Edinburgh, this is not the place to stay. The photograph in the thumbnail and the description in title are very misleading.

The disaster began even before we entered the apartment. It took us 2 hours to get to the apartment. Instead of the description we should have received, we were given a 6-digit code that could not be entered anywhere. There was only one bell outside and several locks with 4-digit codes.When we finally got the key in our hands after a lot of searching and a 1-hour phone call with Fewo-Direkt (the operator of the apartment was not available under the specified number), it did not fit in the door lock. After about 5 minutes of shaking and wobbling the key, it gradually slipped into the lock - we were in it!On the pictures the apartment looked nice, but in reality the apartment is quite dirty and run down:The floor sticks everywhere where there is no carpet, the carpets have many stains and are very dirty, the bathroom door can only be moved by force because it scratches the floor, the water in the sink does not drain, the shower is not clean, TV cables hang messy behind the TV, the chairs are not made of wood as in the photos, but made of plastic and almost fall together when you sit on them, there are no 4 beds as in the description but the sofas are foldable and serve as beds, etc.When we wanted to check out at midnight, as indicated on Fewo-Direkt, there was an unexpected knock on the door at 11 o'clock in the morning - the cleaning staff was there! Shortly after the call came that we have to leave the apartment immediately, since the checkout was at 11am.
