Luxury apartment with free parking in the 4th coolest neighbourhood in the world
This fabulous apartment is set in the heart of Leith, voted the 4th coolest neighbourhood in the World (TimeOut 2021). Leith is awash with fabulous restaurants for every taste and budget with 2 of the 3 Edinburgh Michelin Star restaurants a 10 min walk away. The apartment is perfectly located for all main tourist attractions with The Royal Yacht and Princes St a 20 min walk away, with the Old Town just beyond. This neighbourhood has a cool cafe culture vibe and is a must visit!
The apartment has been fully renovated in 2022 so everything is brand new (with the exception of some lovely antiques). All the beds have new mattresses to give you a great night's sleep. Including the 2 pull out single beds that are available for parties of more than 6.
Living/Dining/Kitchen
This is a massive space over 11mt x 5mt and is fully equipped with everything you need. It is lit by some quirky antique lights which are complimented by some modern recess soft lighting. The kitchen has everything you need should you want to eat in (although there are so many amazing places to eat in the area you may not need this!).
Master Bedroom
This huge room has a super king bed you can get lost in and also a spare pull-out single bed to make this a family room. It is decorated with lush velvets and sumptuous furnishing to help you really enjoy this special space.
Twin Bedroom
This cosy room has 2 single beds and a further spare pull-out single for families. It has some fabulous art work and up-cycled antique furniture.
King Bedroom
The rich red walls give this room a very Royal feel especially with the two fabulous seats. The giant chandelier also makes this room feel super luxury.
Bathroom
Fitted with a luxury claw foot bath and decorated with Italian prints and antique candelabra to ensure you have an indulgent soak in the deep tub.
Shower Room
The rain shower in this space has great water pressure to ensure you have a great start (or end) to your day.
Toilet
Sperate to the bathing rooms to make sure no one interrupts you!
Hall
Luxurious tartan carpet adds toe the very Scottish Castle feel of this apartment. The antique bookcase has plenty of books and games to keep you occupied.
Had booked this apartment to stay in for my friends hen weekend, it was beautiful inside and very central to a number of bars / shops & food places with regular trams available to take you too the city centre. The property manager was also very communicative and answered any questions we may have had.
This accommodation was fantastic !! Clean, spacious, great area, lots of restaurants, shops, tram right outside, great access to the Royal Mile, airport etc. 100% recommend. We throughly enjoyed our stay. A
My family stayed at this nice, clean house for two nights. The location is convenient for visiting attractions in Edinburgh, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The only drawback is that there is no free parking on-site, but the host provides a safe, free parking lot about a 15-minute walk from the property.
Nice flat with a nice, well appointed kitchen and living and dining area. Quiet. Had trouble checking in as the key didnât work and we couldnât reach the owner for about an hour. But after that, they were very responsive. Parking is a distance away (GPS said 14 minutes walk.) However we were able to park close by on the street.
The pictures do not do it justice! It was lovely and spacious! Kitchen beautifully appointed but the food in the area was incredible. Tacos, Ellas, pubs out of this world. There were 7 of us so, 3 bathroom sinks two showers were plenty. The only think that would have put it over the top was if it had more than one toilet but it wasn't that inconvenient
Location was good - close to tram spots and food. Couple of miles from Old Town. The mattress in the master was not very comfortable, but the other two beds were good. Be aware that parking, although free, is a mile away from the property.
When we walked into this property we were excited at the unique elegance of the interior of this flat. It was ideally located near reataurants and pubs to enjoy.
We also used the tram (5 pounds per person per day for unlimited trips) which allowed us to get to Old town Edinburgh in 3 wtops to St. Andrew square. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is great.
The location was fine with cafes and stores nearby, however I canât imagine why it was voted 4th best neighborhood in the world. The flat was clean and spacious. One of the king size beds was very hard and not comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Parking was a 10 min walk away so not super convenient.
Family stayed for daughterâs wedding Ideal location as close to her flat. All good with flat apart from hot water tap in bathroom which requires some attention. We were not confident leaving car at Swanfield so made another arrangement. Might be better to advise guests to make their own arrangements. Otherwise an excellent place to stay for a larger group.
Canât fault the accommodation. Spacious, well resourced and ideal location. Parking was an issue as not outside property, but a 5 minute drive away to a trading estate where I just had to leave the car and hope for the best! Communication not great. Had no idea about parking until after weâd arrived and unloaded so could potentially have got a ticket. And still waiting for a response for another issue but weâre back home!
It is a beautiful property with all the amenities you could need and even some toiletries! A few instructions for appliances would have been helpful but not a problem. Great location and some lovely places to eat in Leith as well. And beautiful brunch in urban jungle and tapas meal in la casa. Would recommend staying here
Perfect for a group of 5 friends. Leith is a gorgeous part of the city with loads of great places to eat, drink and shop. The location of the apartment was great for trips to Edinburgh
This was the perfect place for our group of 8 on the unhappy occasion of a family funeral. The family grew up just one street over, were my in-laws spent over 60 years of their lives together before moving away to the west coast 4 years ago. The neighborhood brought back all the nostalia for my husband and his siblings and especially my mother-in-law. It was great walking through the neighborhood and visiting some of the same shops and restaurants they had visited as children & teens. The flat itself was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. I couldn't believe how spacious it was, it slept all 8 of us comfortably with the 2 pull-out/trundle beds and having 2 showers made getting ready for the funeral in the morning very easy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to have a couple family meals. Overnight street parking right in front was free from 530pm to 830am, Free daytime parking at the hosts warehouse was available within a short walk. I was weary at first as this was our first time using a VRBO rental and there was a couple of negative reviews but after reading the negatives, I realized that it was most likely people who are unfamiliar with the area and/or Scotland in general because the complaints were about things I find to be pretty standard in Scotland (as an American who has visited often due to visiting family). shower controls are different, older buildings are not always handicap accesible, the city can be noisy and there is usually graffiti.
Everything was just perfect, beautiful apartment for a long weekend stay in Edinburgh, everything in the apartment was to a very high spec, also minutes from the tram for a very short journey to central edinburgh and very short journey to the pub, restaurants in leith definitely be back again
