A typically pretty fishing village on the Sorrentine Peninsula is home to bright and spacious Villa Solare. Perched on a green hillside overlooking the sea and rocky coastline, all the vibrant colours of the glorious Amalfi Coast are yours to enjoy as well as romantic, tree-dotted gardens that enhance Villa Solare's enviable position and views.

Across two self-contained apartments are four bedrooms that sleep up to eight guests in total. This makes the villa ideal for a large family or two separate groups. Both apartments boast a living/dining space, as well as great kitchen facilities.

The first apartment boasts a beautiful living space in restful white and blue tones. And adding to the fresh, cool atmosphere are doors that open straight out onto terraces, with the sea breeze free to flow through. This layout also makes it easy to move from drinks on the sofa to al fresco meals on the dining terrace. 

Air conditioning throughout the whole villa ensures you're comfortable at all times. Another feature that allows you to relax immediately after arriving is a welcome dinner that includes wine and a delicious main course. And daily cleaning is also included. Some additional services are available upon request; such as private car and boat transfers, babysitting, a private chef and grocery shopping.

You're sure to be spending plenty of time outside during your stay at Villa Solare. The terraced, courtyard-style gardens are not only home to dining and seating areas – but also a private swimming pool, barbecue and table tennis table.

And when you do venture beyond your beautiful gardens, extra services are available at your request to help you explore the spectacular Sorrentine Peninsula. These include private boat and yacht rental, as well as private guide and interpreter services.

From Villa Solare you can walk to the nearest village in less than 10 minutes, with the pebbled beach at Marina del Cantone just 15 minutes away. Spend days swimming in the sea and having picnics on the beach.

A bus stop is close to the villa, with bus journeys to the coastal towns of Massa Lubrense and Sorrento taking under an hour. Alternatively, you could enjoy scenic drives to both in around 30 minutes.

Location:

Villa Solare occupies an idyllic position on a lush hillside overlooking the sea, which you can reach in 15 minutes on foot. The nearest village with amenities is even closer, with a handful of restaurants and a shop for groceries. Wherever you go, there's a laid-back, traditional fishing village  atmosphere.

Stroll down to the beach at Marina del Cantone with a picnic to spend the afternoon by the sea. There's also a good choice of shops selling ice creams and restaurants and bars to choose from for lunch. Enjoy swimming in the sea and relax on sun loungers as you take in peaceful views over the clear water and the green hills that surround the beach.

Around 20 minutes away by car is Massa Lubrense; a town that's a great starting point for glorious walks through the countryside and along the coast. Also enjoy boat trips around Punta Campanella Marine Reserve, as well as diving, cave swimming and views over to the island of Capri.

Beautiful Sorrento is also easy to reach from the villa, with the drive taking just over 30 minutes. The old town with its narrow alleys is a fascinating place to explore and is full of historic buildings; including the 14th-century church, Chiesa di San Francesco. There's also a cathedral, monastery and bell tower to discover.

With Sorrento being famous for lemons, the number of lemon-themed souvenirs available in its shops should be no surprise! Piazza Tasso is the most-popular place to unwind with drinks or a meal and it boasts plenty of pavement cafes to choose from. You could also enjoy a refreshing swim in the sea.

Terms & Conditions:

Security deposit?
€1000 charged to client's credit card as a pre-authorisation at least 2 weeks prior to arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.



Arrival time?
4.00 p.m. - 8.00 p.m. Late arrivals, if agreed, will be subject to an additional charge of €60 (paid locally).

Departure time?
10.00 a.m.

Minimum stay?
2022: 6 nights from mid-June to mid-September. 5 nights from mid-September to November and in May. 4 nights during all other periods.

2023: 7 nights June to mid-September, 5 nights end-April to end-May and mid-September to end-October. 3 nights during all other periods.



Changeover day?
2022: Flexible. 2023: Saturday approximately mid-June to mid-September. Flexible during all other periods.

End of stay cleaning included?
Yes, and daily cleaning. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Linen & towels included?
Yes, including mid-week change.

Pool towels included?
Yes.

Pool opening dates?
The pool is open approximately April to end-October. Please note that pool opening dates are subject to local weather conditions and pool maintenance requirements and that cooler months may not be suitable for swimming.
