If it's sunny, have a tea party on the gardenside patio, stroll to a rugged beach, or go fishing, wildlife watching, kayaking, mountain biking, surfing, or swimming!

If it's raining, take our umbrella for an easy hike to a lighthouse & a shipwreck, cozy up on the couch by the fireplace with a book or movie or head out for a brew & live music!

The space
"Selkies" are known as human-seal shapeshifters in Celtic folklore. The suite's theme was inspired by local harbour seals, the host's heritage and the property's history. This former nursery of famous Scottish botanist George Fraser was described by him as his "heaven here on earth."

The design has been curated to immerse you in this feeling through curated decor and extra comforts in every room.

During your stay, you will have full and private access to the suite, patio and parking area.
Other things to note
ALL GUESTS:

Adult family lives above with senior dog and sound transfers slightly. Selkie Suite is located in a fishing neighborhood where boats, sealions and eagles make noise from time to time.

BOATERS:

If you are bringing a boat, you are welcome to park it in our driveway at no additional charge and drive for 2 mins to the boat launch.

There is also a Moorage dock right around the corner. You can walk to your boat in a couple of minutes from the suite and have it right near the mouth of the inlet this way.

The cost of moorage is not included in your stay. There are more moorage options in town if this is booked up.

We don't allow cooking or fish cleaning on site. There are a couple of fish cleaning tables in town as well as a great local custom processing seafood market.

Make sure to bring a cooler so you can bring your fillets back home with you after your trip!
