Cosy Cottage by the Sea (1x BIG Master Double Bedroom)
Cosy cottage right by Cowes Beach (ten seconds walk) with traditional English country cottage garden with sea view
1 very large master double bedroom available with King size bed. The master bedroom has a bolt lock so is lockable from the inside.
All bedrooms & the main bathroom have a sea view
Inflatable Canoe is available too (use at your own risk but it's only 2 yrs old and has 2 lifejackets).
Patio has a Chimanea
20-minute walk from the RedJet high-speed ferry terminal. Just walk along the high street for 5 minutes then along the parade, then down the beach then your here :)
The space:
Traditional English country cottage with a lovely garden with views down to the beach and the sea (solent)
Upstairs:
Three bedrooms
- Very large Master Double Bedroom with KING SIZE bed for you, with its own sink and is also adjacent to your exclusive bathroom, so it's pretty much an 'en-suite'. The bedroom includes Mini Kettle for Tea & Coffee. Four Towels. Hairdryer. Bolt lock so is lockable from the inside.
- One smaller bedroom/study perfect for up to 2 children, adolescents or sailors, adults happy with single beds (but probably not very elderly people) since it has 2 single beds.
- One double bedroom is mine since I live here.
- Bathroom for your exclusive use, with a modern spacious shower enclosed with a screen (no bath). Sink, W.C., Airing/Drying Cupboard, Ironing board and iron. This bathroom is next door to the master bedroom and since you have exclusive use it's pretty much 'en-suite'.
Ground floor:
- Kitchen - Brand new kitchen just built with four induction hobs plus one separate big induction hob, brand new oven and a separate combined microwave/oven unit. Kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
- Dining room with 4 chairs and a chaise long.
- Bathroom Downstairs (brand new Feb23): Shower, W.C & Sink .
- Living Room with stove fireplace, available by arrangement (since this is usually my private space but happy to share).
Guest access:
This listing is officially for the Master Bedroom, Bathrooms, Dining room, Kitchen, Garden & Patio area & all listed amenities, and if you book 1 or 2 additional guests then the spare/study room too. BUT you are welcome to access/use the rest of it (living room) apart from my bedroom, since I live here.
Other things to note:
The dining room will be laid for breakfast every morning with Muesli & Corn Flakes Milk & Orange Juice, Butter etc is in the kitchen fridge & Croissants in the bread bin, Bread in the freezers bottom drawer. There's also a mini-kettle in the master bedroom with two mugs and tea bags, sugar, etc.

The downstairs corridor has been brought to the front of the house (it was at the back), so there's more light & warmth at the front of the house into the kitchen and dining room and a more natural flowing corridor from the front doorway into the hall then kitchen and then onto the dining room.

Water system, much more efficient than before, with brand new boiler & water tank/cylinder and pipes, so water is now always hot & heating heats up fast.

Downstairs bathroom, which means the main upstairs bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom is now essentially 'en-suite' for the sole use of guests.

It has already been used as a filming location for the TV program 'Saving Lives At Sea'. Some of the brave volunteers from the local RNLI were interviewed in the dining room about the rescues they have been involved in. Message me to discuss options and availability.
