@ 4 HIGH STREET IS QUIRKY SELF CATERING MAISONETTE IN THE CENTER OF THE BUSY RURAL TOWN OF CASTLE CARY. AN ARRAY OF BARS, RESTAURANTS, GALLERIES AND BOUTIQUES LINE THE BUSY HIGH STREET ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.
WITH EASY REACH BY CAR , BUS OR TRAIN TO POPULAR TOWNS SUCH AS BRUTON, FROME, AND GLASTONBURY. WITHIN A 5 MINUTES DRIVE TO TO NEWT SOMERSET AND 10 MINUTES DRIVE TO BRUTON .
- NO CHARGING OF E VEHICLES
The space
A two story SELF CATERING maisonette , above the high street shops. @ no 4 there is a well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher coffee machine and log burning stove. A large welcoming Lounge area with TV, radio and dvd. Double bedroom ,King bedroom ,Two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower on main floor. Adjoining twin bedrooms in the attic space ( where there are low ceilings!) Complimentary products and Towels provided.
All bedrooms with hanging space or wardrobe , vanity mirror and Hairdryer. Travel cot and high chair are available . Utility room with Washing machine and Dryer. WIFI. No4 is set up to sleep 8 guests but I can arrange two more smaller guest beds on request, 1 in the king room and 1 in the adjoining attic rooms . There is no central heating, but each room is equipped with plug in electrical heaters.
I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights:
I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists
I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines
In order to allow as much time between guest visits we have changed our checking in and out times to :-check in after 4 pm and check out by 10 am. During less busy periods I can extend this , please drop me a line .
Guest access
There is a small outdoor seating area by the back door. Parking for ONE vehicle.
There are 4 bedrooms over two floors.The relevant amount of sleeping space will be available to your party, which means on occasions some rooms will locked.
Other things to note
There are some low ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms.
