There is a fitted kitchen and a cloakroom with a toilet on the ground floor. Upstairs are four family friendly bedrooms, the master with a king sized bed and one bedroom with an en suite along with a further family bathroom. throughout. There is off street parking for 2-3 small cars and a private rear garden.

Getting Around: Recommended to travel by car. The house is walkable from Frome train station (5 minutes) and also walkable from town (5 minutes)
Other Things to Note: Commercial vehicles over 2.5m length will need to park elsewhere and not outside the property as it is not allowed in the cul de sac.
There are two apple trees in the garden. The smaller tree is eating apples and guests are welcome to eat as many as they would like. The big one has large red apples which are better for cooking, and again guests can cook with these.
There is no freezer in the property.
Interaction with Guests: We do not live locally, there is an online management agency called Roost who will be able to help with the day to day running, and a local housekeeper for cleaning and maintenance.
Quirky house with small but pretty garden, though rather overgrown. Open plan layout worked well for us (4 adults & 2 small children). Odd assortment of crockery, cutlery and glasses in the kitchen!
Great accommodation - 3 good size doubles & 2 small beds for children, which worked well for us. Great to have 2 bathrooms but hot water not consistently available in showers.
Overall the house was a little tired and not squeaky clean but that didnât spoil our experience and added in part to the slightly quirky appeal.
Only 10-12 minutes to Longleat and 5 minutes from town centre, so very good location.
My main complaint was the cleanliness of the property. Upstairs was OK apart from some stains on some bedding, But the carpet in the lounge and stairs had not been hoovered. The oven in the kitchen was very grubby and has not been cleaned for a while. The property felt rather neglected and although there was a lot of personal stuff there it seemed the owners did no longer live there.
The management company Roost refunded the ÂŁ100 cleaning charge. The furnishings need in my view a thorough upgrade.
