À propos de cet hébergement

Bowlish Grange est une belle maison d'origine jacobine, notre gîte est disponible sur une base indépendante. Nous sommes proches de l'art et de la culture, des paysages magnifiques, des pubs et des restaurants. Les visiteurs adoreront le cadre historique et l'emplacement. Nous sommes à proximité de Glastonbury, de Wells et du Bath and West Showground. Le chalet est parfait pour les couples, les familles et les groupes d'affaires.

L'espace

Nous proposons quatre chambres doubles. Il y a deux salles de bains privées chacune avec douche et baignoire. Il y a une grande salle de réception avec un beau parquet, un canapé d'angle et une télévision intelligente 4K UHD à écran large. Il y a une belle véranda ensoleillée pour se détendre et une cour privée avec un grand barbecue et une salle à manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes. De plus, il y a aussi une nouvelle terrasse spacieuse qui est parfaite pour prendre un verre en soirée au soleil. Le haut débit ultra-rapide «fibre vers les locaux» est fourni.

Accès invité

Le chalet est une annexe de la maison principale avec sa propre porte d'entrée et sa propre cuisine. Il est entièrement autonome.

Interaction avec les invités

Il y aura généralement quelqu'un autour de vous pour vous aider tout au long de votre séjour et vous donner des conseils sur les points forts de la région, notamment les belles Mendips et les villes et villages historiques de Bath, Wells et Glastonbury.

Comfortable cottage with ace interiors I’m a Beautiful garden setting

Extended family with small children celebrating a big birthday - super easy to check in - great hosts - cottage interiors very thoughtfully designed with nice touches - it’s part of an old building so there are some steep stairs and an old damp wall, but we thought it was really characterful - the use of the garden really made it for us as the kids loved running around and the adults loved having a sunny spot to relax in - comfy beds and good value overall We would love to stay again if we were in the neighbourhood.

Great house, great hosts

We were a large family group of nine adults staying the weekend for a wedding nearby. The cottage accommodated us easily and comfortably. It’s well equipped and very nicely decorated and furnished - one of those places you wish was your own house! It was very clean and we had everything we needed when we arrived. George and Hannah were excellent hosts - quick and easy to communicate with, and helpful and flexible when we were there. All in all highly recommended for a peaceful stay in a lovely part of the country.

Great getaway for family and friends

We had a wonderful stay, the cottage was so welcoming and everything was thought of. George and Hannah were lovely, and made us feel welcomed. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the local area.

Lovely place

Lovely property. Although garden shared with owners property feels nice and private. Kitchen beautiful with all utensils and cooking equipment needed. Bathrooms okay. Water pressure low but nice and warm. Basic but clean and tidy. Bedrooms cosy and welcoming. A couple of the mattress quite dipped in the middle but comfortable. Living space warm and comfortable. 8 small seats in living room. Dining table only has 6 seats but able to bring one in from garden. We were a party of 6 adults and one child. House was good size. Parking in road outside. 3 cars between us, enough space but narrow road. Hosts lovely and welcoming. Responded quickly to any messages. Overall a lovely weekend, thank you

Lovely Character Property

We had a wonderful stay, our hosts couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. The property was homely, clean and beautifully modernised especially in the kitchen area. Our party was 4 adults and 1 toddler and the house fitted ups perfectly. The use of the garden and outside seating area was a great plus. Our little boy especially loved the garden and being able to close the gates it was a lovely safe place to play too. The location of the property was brilliant, lovely and close to amenities (we drove but you could walk if you wanted too but not for a big shop I don't think) and well situated to get to all the different attractions in the area. If we were coming back to the area we would definitely look at this property again Thanks so much for our lively stay Hollie and family

History and Family Fun!

An historic building with all mod cons! We loved the quirky accommodation and really enjoyed staying here. Shepton Mallet makes an excellent base for visiting Wells and Bath as well as being a very interesting place itself. With a septuagenarian, as well as two teenagers in our group, we found lots of things of interest for each and every one of us George and Hannah are lovely hosts and most helpful. Thank you!

Go on, treat yourself

We only booked three weeks before visiting and felt very lucky to have secured a reservation to such a wonderful cottage. If usual times if would have been booked up for sure. It is an incredibly good place to spend a relaxing weekend with your family or invite your friends along and you will all have enough space/ privacy with the way it is laid out. Each family can have a wing. We found the cottage charmingly decorated and very comfortable. It is like a home away from home. Our kids enjoyed the trampoline and running around the massive garden. The patio is a real sun trap. We spent the one afternoon as the Wells Cathedral and site seeing. There are plenty of other entertaining things to do Longleat’s safari’s etc. The hosts Hannah and George are very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely property, helpful hosts.

George and Hannah we're incredibly helpful and understanding, given the complexities of the pandemic. From the start they made us feel welcome with excellent communication and accomodating approach. Everything was explained and it was a straightforward and easy experience. The house is an annexe if the main property in which they live and is a nicely done conversation. The light filled kitchen with wonderful stone wall was a particular highlight. Everything was super clean and hygienic too.

A Perfect Escape

Thank you so much Hannah and George for renting us your beautiful cottage! The house was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous and the beds were really comfy. 3 couples shared the cottage for the weekend and we had so much space! We enjoyed a walk into town past the alpaca's, several trips to the pub and not to mention a visit to the local homeware store Luxe and Twine which we all loved and spent a fortune in! Hannah and George were so friendly and accommodating, I would highly recommend this property to friends and family and hope we get to visit again soon.
