Furthermore, you can sate your thirst for knowledge and art when staying at the apartment by taking a short walk to the various theatres, music halls, galleries, and museums, which can be found both in New and Old Town.

Particularly noteworthy is the great location of the apartment, you are in the middle of the action in a short time. Restaurants and sights are within walking distance. The apartment is a bit dated but is spacious and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely book again.

Excellent location, very close to Victoria Street, Greyfriars Bobby and the Royal Mile. Fully equipped kitchen and clean property. Comfortable pillows and bed. All rooms had hairdryer which was a plus, and also had free shampoo and shower gel. Excellent communication from host and easy check-in/check out

A bed base was completely broken on one side. Another room stunk of stale cigarettes. Pillows throughout the apartment were the thickness of a magazine! Kitchen, lounge and bathroom were clean and well stocked. There was no instructions to put the heating on. Fantastic location and close to everything.

Central location. Good stay!

Overall stay was good! Check in instructions were easy and accurate. Communication with property management was excellent. The place was clean albeit had dated furniture and old carpeting and in an old building. The location was amazing - central to everything. We didn’t have forks… but we ate out mostly. As per other comments, it was loud at night due to the location of the surrounding nightlife. Would recommend for families who plan on staying for a short while/ need a place for the nights!

Good location but the service is nothing to speak of. We arrived late on Friday after an eight hour journey and went to bed after supper. Woke up the next morning to find out there are blood stains on the bed sheet and the duvet cover. The host refused to replace them without charging us. Terrible way to do business.

Convenient but not comfortable.

The best aspect of this property was its convenient location-close to everything. The rooms were small and carpet needed replacing. We tried to get help working shower, but eventually fixed it ourselves.

Great Location

Overall was a great place to stay. It was clean and welcoming. The location was perfect as it was about a 10 minute walk to most everything in the area and Victoria Street is just a block away. There are a couple bars around the apartment but as long as the windows are closed you really can’t hear the patrons outside and glad they have black out curtains as we were not prepared for sunset to be at 10:45 pm in the summer. lol Would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in Edinburgh again!

What I did not fully understand about the location is how it is kind of under an overpass near a busy bar hopping area. Which was not great for a family but worked out fine anyway!

Perfect place for exploring downtown Edinburgh!

This was the perfect place for my mom, daughter and myself to explore downtown Edinburgh! Easy walking distance to everything, including the Royal Mile and Princes St. Although the room furnishings are a bit dated, everything was quite clean and we loved each having our own bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and cleaning supplies, as well as some tea and coffee. The living room has full TV channels and a nice set of board games. There is even a washing machine that we used once. We heard the bars at night as some mentioned, but this didn't bother us falling asleep. This apartment is right by the National Museum of Scotland and Greyfriars Bobby as well as several restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

The apartment is okay. Not amazing not terrible. As the other reviews say, it's RIGHT in the city, surrounded by bars and restaurants, which is nice in someways but louder than most would probably want. One morning we woke to drunken chanting at 3am and puke on the front stairs when we came down. The light bulbs were burnt out in one of the bedrooms so that was not ideal. My biggest issue is the communication. I'd say 90% of the time you're talking to an automated message. The experience lacked human connection and we had trouble checking in and I messaged and called and no one answered. Luckily we did eventually figure out the code for the key box but where it's listed isn't where you think the information should be. Also just so you know bc they don't tell you, they don't take Amex even though the website will let you enter it. I got a weird email from some random address about 2 weeks before our stay telling me I hadn't paid my invoice. But it didn't reference any particular thing I didn't pay for, honestly I thought it was spam. So I messaged through the Vrbo app (which is where contact should be made) and ended up confirming that it was not paid, but what a hassle! So over all... it was just okay. Oh and also the shower pressure is horrible and the variation in temperature was either VERY hot or very cold so just watch out.
