Well appointed and a great neighborhood

Would highly recommend this apartment. It is so lovely and has everything you would need for your stay in Edinburgh. Very spacious and loved the 3 bed/bath layout. It’s quite pretty and located on a perfect street with a close walk to the castle.

Great location

This apartment was beautiful...we loved it. Quite spaceous and well furnished and decorated. The location was wonderful with several pubs/restaurants located quite nearby along with grocery. The stairs leading up were known about ahead of time and easily climbed by the younger ones who helped out the older ones with luggage so not a problem. Easy in and easy out and right in the center of old town. Would highly recommend it to all.

Serene and upscale oasis in the city

This was such a wonderful property for me and my family. The extra large sitting room was a lovely spot to sit and visit and the kitchen was well appointed. We felt at home and spoiled all at once. And of course it was an excellent location. Winner!

Beautiful place

This three bedroom apartment located right across from the castle was a perfect location for our stay in Edinburgh. It was clean and being on the Second floor only a few stairs up for an easy access. Having the 2 1/2 bathrooms was nice for the four of us staying there. The linens and bedding were all high-quality and the apartment is well appointed and very tastefully done. It was an easy easy check in and easy checkout as well. Would highly recommend.

We couldn’t be happier with the apartment. It is very roomy, clean, and up to date. The property managers and owners are lovely folks and very communicative. The check in process was a breeze. The location of the apartment is perfectly situated within walking distance of all the cool things in Edinburgh, the castle and Royal Mile. I highly recommend.

A Charmer in a Superb Location

We just returned from our stay in Edinburgh and wanted to share how delighted we were with this property. It was beautifully decorated and perfectly furnished with attention to every detail. The location was adjacent to Princes Street Gardens and in the shadows of Edinburgh Castle.

Excellent Flat in a Perfect Location

Needed a place for a week while my wife was as in Edinburgh on business and then a long weekend. Flat was spacious, well equipped and exactly what we needed in terms of a kitchen and common area. Location could not have been better. Central and walkable to everything you needed. Some street noise but part of the charm. Only items missing were umbrellas and electricity converters…we left both behind for the next guests. Overall, you cannot go wrong with this rental. Would stay again without hesitation.

Perfectly Charming in Edinburgh

This was by far THE BEST VRBO we've stayed at over the years and across the globe. We had a lovely time together. The hosts were pleasant to communicate with when making arrangements. We had no troubles during our stay. The linens were high quality. A Christmas wreath on the entry door welcomed us as well as a charming Christmas tree twinkling in the sitting room. The location was perfect--quiet, yet within walking distance to places we visited. We hope to visit again!

Elegant apartment in a superb location

Our two families are traveling through Scotland chasing Harry Potter. We needed a home base in Edinburgh to start our journey and our Castle View apartment was an exceptional launching pad. We were so comfortable in the three bedrooms (excellent linens!) and were able to spread out and enjoy both the living room and the kitchen. Our hosts thought of every little detail (e.g. 2 blow driers available) that made our stay feel like home. We really appreciated the early check in and the constant communication with the property manager. When we had a question, we were able to get a response right away. We highly recommend this unique spot and would absolutely return on our next visit.

Perfect Week in Edinburgh

We just spent the best week in Edinburgh with 2 other couples. This flat was absolutely perfect for the 6 of us. The property manager introduced himself as soon as I made the booking and was very responsive to my questions. They allowed us to check in a bit early which was a very helpful so that we weren't lugging bags around all day. (I realize that if the flat was booked the day before it would have been impossible for them to accommodate us so there was some luck involved - but I was grateful that they were willing to be flexible on check in timing as not all hosts are!) The location was amazing - so close to the Grassmarket and Princes St with a gorgeous view of the castle. The flat was beautifully appointed with everything you could think of needing and very clean. I can't recommend this enough to anyone traveling to Edinburgh with a group.

Fantastic place!!!

Everything via the Edinburgh Address went very smoothly!! Anytime I asked a question or had a concern, someone would email me!! Communication was top notch!! Unfortunately, we even did encounter an emergency while there, and the concierge service was extremely responsive! The place is extremely big and comfortable. Our party of 8 never seemed crammed into the space. The kitchen is always where we congregate and it's such a great big table!! The beds very comfortable! Rooms were very spacious. The living room has enough seats for a large party! The bathrooms were fantastic with heated floors and towel racks!! For American travelers, it would be nice to have directions on how to use the appliances! The French Press coffee maker takes a bit to get used to. Also, we did see recycling bins all around Edinburgh but there wasn't anything offered for this apartment. Feel this is something very important. It is centrally located to everything!! The Castle View is incredible!! You can walk to the tram and flag a cab nearby easily! Overall, we had a great stay!! We would come again.

Top quality apartment. Very tasteful decor and all the comforts you could wish for.

We arrived early for a weekend in the Castle View Apartment. We had a 10 minute wait in the cold awaiting our key holder. This was soon forgotten when we stepped in to the warm welcome of our weekend home. As the other guests arrived we all had to choose a bedroom.... who would get the best room? Well, we all did! Every bedroom is tastefully decorated and luxurious. Only one room did not have an en-suite, but as there was also a family bathroom off the main hallway, nobody really missed out. The living area had sufficient seating for all of the guests (6) to chill out and either prepare for our day out, or reflect on our time as we unwound before bedtime. We chose to eat out most of the weekend, but, having had eoungh of city life, we had a lovely Sunday evening together around the dining table. We enjoyed the ambience of the kitchen / dining room. It was cosy, but large enough not to feel closed in. Later on Sunday evening we retired to the living room, where again we enjoyed the comfort of the furnishings and the atmosphere the room created with its high ceilings and quality wallpaper. And, of course, from the windows to the front of the apartment we had great views all day and night of the Castle and surrounding grounds. The Apartment, did not only work in terms of its facilities inside. It's positioning within the city meant all the city sites we wished to visit were within easy walking distance. This was especially important to me, as I suffer from a painful ankle, having had a Club foot as a child. Even for me, I could make George Street in less than 10 minutes. Although I live locally to Edinburgh, I would still gladly use this Apartment again. And, in fact, we are already planning a return trip, perhaps at a warmer time of year next time!!
