A beautiful home to match a stunning garden that sweeps down to the sea. Sit back and watch the sun go down in this peaceful, idyllic place. The house is beautifully decorated and is homely and comfortable. The kitchen opens out on to a patio area. The house benefits from sustainable heating/hot water via an airsource heat pump - and there is a wood fired stove to cosy up to as well. There is a separate snug lounge and a large bunk room where children can happily play. Enjoy your great escape!
The property is on the Wild Atlantic Way so perfect for exploring the many peninsulas along the West Cork and Kerry part of this stunning route. There are amenities nearby - fantastic coffee shop/deli across the road (Mannings Emporium) and supermarket within walking distance that has petrol pumps and a pub. There are lovely walks and swim spots very near the property.
Wonderful day trips include Barley Cove beach, Glengarriff nature reserve, Garnish Island, Gougane Barra. Base your family at Ealu Mor and start exploring!
Beautiful home with ample room for two families. We were greeted by the host who took the time to show us around and followed up with us to make sure all was going well. She provided us with milk, cream, coffee and tea which was much appreciated. It is newly remodeled, each room was lovely and well kept. There is outdoor furniture and the lawn rolls down to the sea. We would highly recommend.
This place was amazing in its proximity to area towns and attractions. It had a great view of the sea, and the place was very clean and tidy. Teri was very helpful in aiding us to the place, and she even had a cake dessert and some coffee pods for us when we arrived. She went through everything very thoroughly and was always available via What's App for our questions. I recommend this to any family/friend group (we were 9). Lots of space, great bedrooms, very clean. So glad we chose this place. Thank you Bernadette and Teri!
I love sharing this part of the Wild Atlantic Way with guests. West Cork is a real hidden gem but once experienced, never forgotten! It is a truly beautiful area with outstanding walking, sea swimming, beaches, restaurants and woods. There are endless things to do - and beautiful spaces to just sit and do nothing!
I fell in love with the mountains, the sea, the views and the people. It is a beautiful place and I was very lucky to find it! I have enjoyed getting to know all the lovely walks and secret swimming places and then sharing them with others!
This is a wonderful, homely house. Plenty of space to spread out and a great room for kids to play in and enjoy themselves. The gardens are very mature with beautiful plants and trees. Many people just like to grab a book and watch the sun go down across the sea from the patio.
The view from the garden is really special and worth just taking time to sit and enjoy.
