We appreciate your feedback and agree that the Yellow Lake House is an exceptional property on Saratoga Lake. Our correspondence before and during your stay is thoroughly documented on the VRBO site, and we value your positive remarks about how lovely the house is. It’s important to note that we provided detailed instructions for the property, including how to access the home and use its amenities. This included addressing your numerous questions about the (2) 48-inch smart TVs, a dehumidifier, our canoe, and the private dock, which is available for fishing, swimming, and accommodating guests with watercraft. We are pleased that you and your family took advantage of these features, as well as the fully furnished front (not back) deck with a gas grill overlooking the lake. Historically, our (2) AC units have successfully maintained a comfortable 70-degree temperature throughout the 900 sq. ft. Yellow Lake House. We offer extra AC window units upon request, and it’s important to mention that you did not reach out to us about this during your visit. While we recognize that the challenges you experienced with the smart TVs were frustrating, we must note that similar issues have not been reported by other guests before or after your stay. Despite our efforts to address your daily requests, it became clear that we were not meeting your expectations for this rental. If you seek a different experience, a hotel in the City of Saratoga might be better aligned with your needs, as our property is set in a rural area on Saratoga Lake, which comes with unique wildlife and natural surroundings. We also want to clarify that your comment about flying insects, particularly since you noted the issue did not persist on the final night of your stay, suggests that any insects on the third night likely came in through an open door or window. We wish you well in your future travels and are confident you will find a property on VRBO that better meets your vacation needs.

Thanks very much for your kind thoughts John, our Lake House is certainly closet challenged, 900 sq ft left few options during our renovations, we opted for more open space & is why bedroom 3 is set up w/ a single sofa/sleeper, dresser & armoire. Didn’t know about the slow drain; we’ll def have Cassandra Cleaning org address that:)
