In the heart of Wimbledon, moments from the shops, bars and restaurants of the town centre, this one bedroom flat is the perfect base for your trip.
A walk or short drive away from the amenities of Wimbledon village, Wimbledon common, and the world famous All England Tennis Club. With excellent transport links and well equipped for children as well as adult guests.
Henry was responsive to all the questions we had. The location was perfect with public transportation right out the door. Wimbledon Village had all the amenities, Coop, restaurants, pubs.
Small but functional flat in South London within short walking distance to train station with direct line to Kings Cross and access to the underground. Bathroom was a little tight but water was hot for a good shower. One bedroom was plenty big enough but has 5 steps down which are a bit short and steep with no handrail and were a bit tricky. 3 small things : the bedroom door did not close and there were no knobs for the oven so couldnât use. Also there is no TV or music in the flat so we were thankful we had our own streaming device for news/weather or entertainment .
Overall was a good apartment for our stay .
Lovely apartment, everything you need for a nice stay in London. Well linked to the city. Stayed with my family, husband, 4 year old and 11 month old.
Kitchen was very well equipped and the accommodation overall was lovely! Great access. Stairs to the apartment.
Couple of things to note, no tv (ok for us as we brought out laptops), stairs to the bedroom (only a couple but worth knowing for toddlers and crawlers) and the bedroom can be a little cold.
Would definitely book again, Thankyou for a great stay!
Second floor of home a 19 minute walk away from Wimbledon tube station.
Walking upstairs in a very dark stairway (19 steps to the door on second floor), was not welcoming. Stairs very narrow. Difficult finding key hole in the dark. Inside flat a long hallway (with stairs in it) connecting bedroom at back of house (next to train tracks), to front living room (nicest part of residence), and narrow galley kitchen. Watch out for 5 stairs, no hand rail and no lighting as you walk to back of house. Stairs were of uneven depth, making them more treacherous. A tread depth of 7" would be illegal in Canada, and these steps had different tread depths. (They varied from 8" to 7" in depth). Frying pan in kitchen in need of replacement. Fridge very good, stove acceptable. Very overpriced for condition of the unit and stairs an actual hazard inside the flat. Sorry Henry, you were helpful but flat not one I would return to.
