An excellent Villa with fabulous views, lovely pool and outside space, and 15minutes walk to the seafront, beach, bars and tavernas. Arillas is a lovely place to stay which is a little quieter than other resorts on the island. Highly recommended!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is private, peaceful, and offers a beautiful view of the sea. The house and room are very well equipped, making our stay comfortable and convenient. The surrounding territory is well maintained, and the pool is clean and pleasant to use. Overall, a great place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended.

What a lovely villa

What a lovely villa. Wonderful views from all the balconies positioned around the house. Good access to restaurants, shops and bars, but very quiet and peaceful. Excellent pool and outside bbq area. The house was well equipped and Maria and the team were super friendly and responsive. The only slightly negative comment is the ‘family’ shower facilities are a bit tight for bigger menfolk.

Lovely property. Great holiday.

We had a fantastic time. Villa was lovely. Very Clean. The apartments at the bottom of the driveway had a pool and pool bar that we sometimes used too to get a bite to eat. The on site manager was lovely and very helpful even taking us to the shop for groceries as we didn’t have a car. The sunsets from the villa were amazing. Would definitely recommend.

This Villa was one of the best places we have stayed in! The size and layout of the house are brilliant, and the outside space is great. We had the pool heated so that our 22 month old would enjoy it and that worked perfectly. This Villa would be ideal for groups as well as each bedroom has its own balcony, and downstairs has 3 additional balconies - so there is ample private space as well. The local area was perfect for us as well - lots of great restaurants only a 5 min drive away, and nice sandy beaches within 10 mins. This surpassed all of our expectations and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended!!

Family holiday

Awesome place to spend time . Just loved the property, spacious , well equipped. We had 4 people but to think 8 would be no issue. The views were probably the best we have had in all our holidays . Location perfect too with a 15-20 walk to the main restaurants on tbe sea front. Sunsets were unbelievable . Ilana was the perfect host too. Can’t say enough good things . We will be back here

We had a wonderful stay here as a family of 7 in July. The villa is very spacious with plenty of private areas to escape to if you’re in a large group. We loved the fact that every bedroom had a balcony too. There are many local shops and a lovely beach nearby at Arillas which has a great atmosphere. Although many places nearby are walkable, we were grateful for our car as it’s a very steep drive up to the villa, but that does in turn give you the most amazing views! Appreciated the brilliantly efficient air con as was certainly very hot in July. The pool was also appreciated, particularly as it’s a chemical free one, important when the kids are in it literally all day! Communications were good, particularly with Lena who was so helpful and informative. Her recommendation of the amazing local fish restaurant was a winner! Overall I’d certainly recommend this villa.

Where to start! This was probably everyone’s favourite holiday, ever

Where to start! This was probably everyone’s favourite holiday, ever. The villa was spotless and had absolutely everything you could possibly need for your stay. It’s only a 15 min walk to the town which also has everything you’d need (transfer companies, places to rent a car/quad, restaurants, bars). We found everyone there extremely friendly too, lots of locals gave us advice. We explored a lot of the island on quads and everyone said Arillas was by far their favourite location and we were glad to stay here. We had a problem with the water one day and Elena sorted it within 30 mins of our first message, which is amazing. The villa and views are even better in real life! We hope to come back one day, best trip ever and thank you to Maria and Elena who were a great help.

Lovely villa

This is a lovely comfortable villa, with lots of extras. The view is amazing. The children had a fabulous time in the pool. Eleana is a great host and was always there if we needed anything. We also had a couple of nice lunches in the snack bar at the apartments which was all great. There were lots of toys which kept the little ones amused. Arillas is a lovely village with a family atmosphere, the beach is sandy and shallow so again great for children. We were all sad to leave and go home but would definitely book again. The only thing i would change is adding a gate to the top of the steps on the balcony to the garden. This would make it much safer for young children.

Luxury Villa Makris was very impressive and immaculately presented with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The view was truly amazing and the sunsets incredible. We spent a lot of time in the lovely pool which was a good size and crystal clear. The lovely resort of Arillas had a good selection of restaurants, a couple of small supermarkets and the most amazing safe beach with warm, crystal clear water. There was also a fabulous bakery a short walk from the villa run by a lovely couple. The walk to the resort took about 15 minutes and as the villa is on a hillside the road up to it was very steep and a bit of a slog especially when it was very hot, but made worthwhile for the fabulous views. We drove by taxi to the Carne supermarket about 10 minutes away to buy meat and other groceries. We also hired a boat at Sidari (20 minute taxi ride) which was a fabulous experience. Maria was a superb 5* host, incredibly helpful and communicative, making our stay perfect!

Fantastisk villa, välutrustad och med generösa ytor. Stor trädgård med ytor för såväl bad, lek och umgänge som låg tillsammans, nära utekök och matplats. Vi var två mindre barn och sex vuxna och alla trivdes väl. Lätt att ta kontakt med hjälpsamma värdar. Vackrare utsikt går inte att få, med magisk solnedgång i havet. Ulla och Sam Bigelius, Sweden

Excellent Villa and location - highly recommend

Having never been to Corfu it was a bit of luck we booked Villa Makris on the outskirts of Arillas, a rustic and quaint stretch of beach with a few shops and restaurants, with a very short main road with a few bars, shops and restaurants. We wish we had a few more days as we had started to get to know where all the good spots are. The Villa, perched on hill facing the sea, with a view across Arillas. The sunsets are remarkable. Very comfortable Villa with excellent facilities and a lovely little pool. Elena from the management company was excellent and was available when we needed her. Overall, exceptional holiday, a great location to get together with friends or family.
