Wonderful Seaview Cottage

A real gem. We were all very comfortable here. Beautiful white sands on the doorstep. Perfect for a holiday with our dogs. We had a great time, and will be booking again next year.

Lovely Cottage

Great cottage ideally located by the beach for great dog walks. Welcome cake and scones were a lovely touch. Only downside is that is very little to do in Bacton, also the local pub didn't offer food during our stay although there are a couple within easy driving distance that did. Overall a nice stay with the dogs who were well accommodated for.

A peaceful cottage by the sea

We had the most wonderful week in this beautiful, peaceful cottage - our second time here! It’s in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach and within easy reach of so many gorgeous sandy beaches, country parks, walks and the seals at Horsey. The cottage is wonderfully dog-friendly and had everything we needed for a perfect, relaxing stay. A special mention for the incredible homemade gluten-free and vegan cheesecake from our lovely host — absolutely delicious! We would highly recommend this cottage and can’t wait to return.

Great stay for dogs and humans

A fantastic cottage so close to a lovely beach in a great location Well equipped and very clean with everything we could need The 4 dogs and their 3 owners had an amazing time and would love to return Well enclosed garden a short walk to a great beach with cafes, walks and plenty of pubs and takeaways nearby

Fantastic Seaview Cottage!

An amazing house on the beach track at Bacton - everything you need from a holiday home and more. Great location literally metres from the beach with virtually no passing traffic and fantastic to hear the sea from the garden and see it from upstairs windows. The dogs absolutely loved the enclosed garden and we knew they were safe and couldn't get out, and again everything you need for a brilliant holiday, even dog beds and home made dog treats left for us. We will absolutely be back.

Wonderful short break

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit The host was very accommodating, and we were welcomed with a home-made cake on arrival! The beach is a stones throw away, and very dog friendly House was very clean, but also very dog friendly (we had four) Wouldn’t hesitate to return Beautiful part of the country. Enjoyed seeing all the seals on the beach.

Warm and welcoming cottage. Great location so close to the sea down a quiet lane. Well equipped kitchen.

A fabulous few days at Seaview cottage

Pete myself and our 3 collies have had a fabulous few days at Seaview Cottage. The location is super so close to the beach and lovely walks in Bacton and Pygneys Woods. The cottage is warm and very comfortable. Added bonus was the most delicious homemade cheesecake in the fridge on our arrival. Easy reach of very good eating places.

Dog Heaven

Too have a beach so close down a quiet no through road would be perfect but added to a character cottage with fantastic sea views from upstairs & a secure grass lawn garden. ( even has outdoor dog toilet to save on bags) & sun cabin if you want a place to sit & read with the sound of the sea plus 4 bedrooms with 1 downstairs then Sea View is the cottage for you.

Fantastic dog friendly stay

As the owner of a bully breed, finding pet-friendly accommodation is a constant struggle so finding this cottage was a real relief. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. Our boy absolutely loved the beach and sea, and getting him to leave each day was a battle! By the time we were heading home, he was giving us his best disapproving look from the doorstep. The sea view was stunning and the cottage was everything we needed. We would love to book again, highly recommended to any bully breed owner who's had a hard time finding somewhere suitable.

Lovely seaside cottage

We had a wonderful time, Leonie was so helpful, the cottage was very warm and well appointed. Hearing the waves crash on the beach from the house was mesmeric. Would highly recommend this property.

Weekend visit

Great location and great quality of the accommodation, fantastic pre visit information with guides on shops, restaurants, things to do. Really doggy friendly with a fabulous beach on the doorstep.

Its a German Shepherd rescue dogs dream - Mr. Eriks FIRST beach holiday post adoption!

We booked Seaview Cottage as a last minute seaside break. The quiet location was SPOT-ON for a reactive rescue, the garden was VERY SECURE (an absolute must) and the beach within walking distance. I've looked at this lovely cottage many times before however with just 2 of us and Mr. Erik, 4 bedrooms was much more than we needed, it was a very special treat and the late availability discount, on this occasion, made it possible!! The Cottage is well kept and very comfortable, the Kitchen (for a holiday let) was well equipped, most definitely a 'home from home' experience. As a 'Welcome Gift' Leonnie the Cottage Owner left the most AMAZING and delicious homemade cheesecake in the fridge for us to enjoy which was much appreciated and a lovely pudding for a couple of days! The weather was kind to us and the cottage VERY comfortable and relaxing, Mr. Erik had no trouble chilling that's for sure! And last but not least, the dog shower really made our holiday as I was able to give Mr. Erik his FIRST proper warm shower in 18 months which he both accepted and ENJOYED having previously been very scared of being bathed in the normal way!! Would have NO hesitation in recommending East Ruston Cottages and have done so many times before, Seaview Cottage gets 5 Stars from us and just PAWfect too! Thank you for a lovely stay, just what we all needed!

Lovely location

House had everything we needed and a perfect small walk to the beach. Great location in Bacton with a lovely cafe and handy shop.

A good place to stay

Very comfortable cottage in a great location with a very short walk to the beach. Good facilities in the cottage with a well equipped kitchen, it also has a hot water shower in the garden for rinsing sand off of the dogs!

Fantastic holiday

Never been anyway so dog friendly, it had everything we needed and more. Fantastic location, dogs loved their morning swim straight from the door. Lots of dog friendly places to visit will definitely be back

Wonderful location, absolutely perfect to explore the area and proximity to a great dog friendly beach and to the woods for those extra hot days when holidaying with your dogs!

Lovely Cottage next to a lovely beach

Lovely cottage just moments walk from a dog friendly, sandy beach - which was pretty much deserted whatever time of day we went. Good, secure garden for dogs (and humans) .Quiet location opposite fields on a tiny lane leading to the beach access. Great dog friendly cafes in easy walking distance.

Sea View Cottage

Sea View was a lovely warm cottage, very well equipped, spacious rooms and secure garden. 100m walk to a lovely sandy beach and pub ( Poachers Pocket ) 500m via road or beach. We spent a week here for New Year celebrations, 6 adults and 5 dogs and loved it. We will definitely be returning. 5*

Fabulous dog friendly holiday cottage in an amazing location, so close to the beach!

We had an amazing short break here & were so pleased the location & cottage offered everything we could want. A short drive takes you to many dog friendly beaches, woods & National Trust properties & coastal towns, but the bonus is the few yards walk only to get to the local beach where the dogs can run free on an expansive stretch of sand, & you can walk to the pub!

Beach delight

Our stay was amazing. Everything we needed was at the cottage, it was so easy to walk the dogs and shower them off after. The location is stunning the area is so dog friendly. I cannot fault the cottage or the holiday and I look forward to returning

Peaceful haven by the sea

We absolutely loved our stay at Seaview cottage. Having the beach on our doorstep was perfect for our family. As it is so quiet our nervous dog was able to relax and live his best life; he even came off lead at some points which is totally unheard of. The cottage has everything you need and is in a great location for exploring the area. We love using East Ruston cottages for our doggy holidays and this is definitely one of our favourites so far.
