Perfect Location

Miro 5 - Rambla Catalunya Luxury is the perfect location in Barcelona! We stayed in a near by hotel prior to checking in and asked for a late check out, so it was easier to keep our luggage at the hotel before checking into Miro 5. The apartment is located in a great neighborhood, walking distance to cafe's, supermerkat's, bakery's and restaurants. The building has an elevator which made it easy to get our bags up. Access to the apartment was so simple and also has a staircase for easier in and out access. If you don't mind taking the metro, there is a stop around the corner that made it easy for us to get everywhere in the city. The apartment has a nice size kitchen that was perfect for a light breakfast and afternoon snacks. The temperature was nice and we were able to open the balcony doors for fresh air and listening to the sounds of the city. We had a wonderful visit at Rambla Catalunya Luxury and I highly recommend if you are looking for a nice place to stay as you explore the city!

Clean and well located apartment with comfy beds

The living room and master bedroom get lots of natural light. The large glass windowed doors can be opened, which was great as we did not like the smell of whatever cleaner they used in the apartment. Most of the square footage is smartly devoted to the living/dining area and, secondarily, the master bedroom. The two other bedrooms are small and dark with no natural light. . . perfect if you only use them to sleep, which is what my son did. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated how quiet the apartment was. The gray area rugs had a few black marks but the other furniture and decor were well selected and in fair condition. We did not spend much time in the kitchen, but it was nice to have the fridge, glassware, etc. The only discrepancy from the description is that there is no dryer that we could find. (We asked through the VRBO message board if there was a dryer hidden somewhere but did not receive a response.) The only other minor issue was that the shower in the second bathroom is designed poorly so that water comes out of the shower stall no matter which way you point the water; we solved that problem by using a towel to barricade the door of the shower. Oh and there are some stains - looked like water stains- and a hole in the wall of the second bedroom, but it didn't affect our stay. Great location in a safe, clean area with great restaurants. Building is clean and felt safe as well.
