What a lovely cosy and well located cottage. We loved it and it is so well stocked with everything you would need ! We would return in a minute if we had the time off and can thoroughly recommend this cottage after our hugely enjoyable experience , if you want R & R then this cottage / town delivers in abundance. Great view from the back window of the playing field and across the valley....... full marks all round

Excellent cottage.

Excellent cottage. Be a brilliant one if they could sort out the outside seating area which is there but not available. But great location and comfortable place...especially being able to watch sheepdog trials from the window😁

Cottage is well equipped and comfortable.

Cottage is well equipped and comfortable. Good location, on street parking and close to the tourist information office. Alston is a quaint village served by a Coop, Spar and a health food store. It still has a Post office and a number of cafes, gift, charity and antique shops. Well maintained and the people are very friendly

Lovely wee cottage in a lovely location.

Lovely wee cottage in a lovely location. Cottage had everything we could have needed and it felt like we were staying in a piece of history. It has been done beautifully and is a pleasure to stay in.My car got keyed sitting outside which is a shame and in no way the owners’s fault. Just put a bit of a dampener on what was a lovely weekend :(

Lovely cottage, with absolutely everything you could need.

Lovely cottage, with absolutely everything you could need. Has been decorated with Christmas tree and lights round the fireplace.Very clean and tidy. Lots of Dvd's to watch but no player in the lounge? Lovely walk along the river in hope of some red squirrels but unlucky. Walked alongside the old railway line just a pity train wasn't running until the 7th Dec. Village very quiet but guess its that time of year
