The Chapel was incredibly cosy and comfortable which is just what we needed with our two year old and the very cold weather!! Located brilliantly for lots of activities.
Same house lovely would have been very nice to have seen the owners either when we got there or before we left Garden not great didnât like going along the main road in my pyjamas to let them out. Nick missed not being able to see out of the windows and not having a back door too much trouble to take stuff round to the garden where every day there was a shotgun set off in the mornings. Drove the dogs mad. I would definitely recommend the house for somebody that doesnât have dogs
Very clean, beds extremely comfortable, very quirky and different, always wanted to stay in a converted chaple ! Delightful little garden. Owner very helpful. Unfortunately we all came down with a very nasty cold but enjoyed it nonetheless. Would def return.
Lovely clean comfortable house with very kind owner on a beautiful island
The Old Chapel is a lovely property on the beautiful Isle of Wight. It has been decorated with much detail, has all the comfort you can wish for and is very clean. The owner is very kind, responds quickly, is helpfull and very attentive. We very much enjoyed our stay!
Iâm Lu and Iâve lived on the island all my life but love to travel. Iâve got three grown up sons and three grandsons. I live with my husband Nic and our little dog Reggie just ten minutes away from The Old Chapel.
Iâve known this chapel for many years and, in fact, used to live almost next door. When it closed for worship it was so interesting watching the builders reinvent it as a dwelling and when it went up for sale I had to have a look and just instantly knew it was the holiday home my husband and I had been looking for. We had both been looking for somewhere that was homely but with a âwowâ factor. Somewhere weâd be pleased to holiday in. It just felt right.
The view from the windows on the gallery is beautiful. The private little garden accessed through the car park is secluded, safe and again has lovely views. Itâs just the right mixture of original features and modern comfort.
