32 V.C: Casa Figueira Fabulous Townhouse in Ferragudo

This fabulous two-storey townhouse commands an elevated position on the prestigious Vila Castelo traditional development. In less than ten minutes you can walk to the stunning Praia Grande beach which offers several excellent restaurants including Club Nau which hosts live music events throughout the year.



The beach also offers water sports. The centre of Ferragudo can also be reached on foot in under ten minutes and here you will find winding cobbled streets with traditional restaurants and small independent shops. You can watch the fisherman bring their fresh catch in on the boats and enjoy wonderful fresh fish cooked on an open fire in one of the several restaurants on the water front. Ferragudo is full of charm and character and close by there is the highly popular town of Carvoeiro, the marina of Portimão and historic Silves to discover. There is even a water taxi in the summer months to take you across to Praia da Rocha. For those that want to explore the Algarve coast line, Lagos and the natural beauty of Ponta da Piedade is less than a 40 minute drive away.

The townhouse is ideally placed, set just back from the road in a quiet location but close to all amenities. On entrance, there is a fully fitted kitchen and open plan lounge and dining area. A south facing balcony with sea views leads from the lounge and has external dining area with awning to provide shade.

On the lower level there is a twin bedroom with a private north facing terrace, ideal for some morning sun. This bedroom has the use of a full bathroom. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and further terrace leading from patio doors, perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun.

Just a few steps away, the town-house enjoys access to the communal pool which has a snack bar, plenty of sun loungers and regular activities hosted by the condominium. A car is not necessary but if you need parking there is plenty of space with the apartments.

The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the washing pods, bin bags etc which were provided. The communication and information from Elite Rentals was excellent. We loved being so close to both the town and the beach

The apartment was excellent spacious, clean, and very well equipped. The location is perfect, within walking distance to both Ferragudo town center and the beach. The pool was in poor condition during our stay, but we were informed that it will soon be renovated, so this should not be an issue for future guests. Highly recommended!

We felt right at home in this spacious, light-flooded place. Great views from the balcony, the other two patios were lovely as well, even in the wettest January on record! The beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything you need and more, and we used the fireplace most nights. The villa is in the Vila Castelo complex, being January it was very quiet. It was an easy 5 min walk to Praia Grande, even less to Praia Agrinha, and maybe 8mins to the central square. We stayed for a month (early Jan to early Feb) which meant everything was nice and quiet but also that a lot of restaurants and shops were closed, both in town as well as everywhere on the Algarve. But enough is open so that you can appreciate the beauty of the place. The weather was terrible (storms Kristin&Leonardo) but we felt nice and snug in the villa. The pool was being renovated while we were there. Last but not least, communication with the agency was excellent. Thank you Katherine and team, we loved our stay!

The house is a few minutes walk from the center of Ferragudo, but has parking in case you use a car. We found the place as described, very clean and equipped with every comfort. The residence where the house is present has an accessible pool. Recommended accommodation!

Excellent property

The duplex was very clean with everything you need. Good air conditioning. Beds are a bit firm choice of pillows. Nice terraces with a view from the top one. The kitchen has been equipped with all you need and more. Always good to have a safe. Nice size pool with loungers and brollies. Very disappointed that the pool bar was closed with no sign of it opening. The pool itself was in need of a clean. It did get done after a week of our stay.

We had a fabulous stay in this lovely property... Easy to find, checked in smoothly and we really enjoyed exploring the area. Only negative was to do with the shared pool it's in need of a major refurb and I'm not sure why this wasn't done before the summer season. Pool floor was damaged.Hand rail and slabs going into the pool were loose.Umbrellas were broken. Pool sides were dirty. Don't let this put you off though and this is such a lovely property and a fantastic base to explore The Algarve

Very nice, spacious, cozy and quiet cottage. The swimming pool is nearby and the center and the beautiful beach are within walking distance. From the terrace you can see the sea in the distance. The apartment is on a dead end street, so very quiet. Only the seagulls can hear you. We stayed there with 4 (2 adults and 2 children)and would love to come back again!

The rental was really well arranged. The view of the ocean is just magnificent. Very quiet place. You can make sure that the furniture around the pool is replaced because there were torn cushions. The mattress for the double bed deserves to be replaced because the springs are getting old.

Charming Mediterranean-style apartment with stunning sea views. The pool is just a short walk away. However, a small downside: the restaurant near the pool, mentioned in the listing, was permanently closed and the deck cushions deserve a little refresh. In addition, there are no shops nearby for quick shopping without taking the car. The place is quiet, without noiseparty people, making it an ideal place to relax in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend this dream rental.

The flat was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Katharine was a responsive and helpful host both before and during our stay. Less than a 10 min walk to Praia Grande beach, there is an inflatable water park, pedalos, kayaks and paddle boards for hire (cash only) as well as a great beach bar open every day except Monday. The village of Ferragudo (less than 10 mins walk) has plenty of bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. Whilst there is not a large supermarket within walking distance, an Uber ride of approx 5 euros took us to Lidl, Aldi and McDonalds so we could stock up. We were able to replenish during the week from the smaller supermarket within walking distance (closed on Sundays). Slide and Splash water park was also only 15 mins away and around 5 -8 euros by Uber. As Ubers were readily available, it is not necessary to hire a car, but plenty of parking is available here . We would recommend this home to any families looking for a relaxing stay in the Algarve
