We, a family of 9 adults and 4 grandchildren, stayed for 10 days in Deirdre's beautiful property. It is fantastic for anyone visiting mid -west Ireland 5 minutes from the ocean and great for travelling to other parts of Ireland . The home is huge, very tastefully decorated and highly recommended. Deirdre was incredibly kind and available for any queries

This home nestled in the beautiful country is amazing. The home is well-appointed, spacious indoors and out and the host, Deirdre, is fantastic. My family of 10 stayed and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. We met a wonderful driver, Martin, who was happy to bring us around and was so knowledgable. The hotel at the end of the street has a great pub and trad music on Sunday evenings. John is amazing. Overall a wonderful Ireland experience. If you’re looking for spacious and peaceful in between touring Ireland, Teach na Mara is your place!!

The CUTEST house. It was all decorated for Easter which was adorable. I’ve never stayed at a house that was decorated for a holiday and we all loved that. The house was clean, nice, and had everything we needed. Deirdre was an excellent host and communicator. Very kind and helpful. 100% would stay here again.

This is a lovely property in the heart of Connemara between Moycullen and Spiddal. The house is large, modern and well appointed with several bathrooms and showers. Outside there's a lovely patio, a fire pit and a BBQ grill. The large modern kitchen is excellent for cooking with a wide range of cooking and cleaning appliances. We stayed there during a period of warm April sunshine and the area around the house is wild and beautiful. Spiddal is a short distance away by car.Deirdre is an excellent host and is warm and welcoming. This is an excellent way to explore the beauty of Connemara.

My family and I spent a beautiful week at the Spiddal Villa, 6 adults and 8 children. The home was perfect for us and the property was great for relaxing and watching the children play. I highly recommend this home. We all hope to return one day

This was the perfect place for our group of 14, ages 3.5 to 70. We were provided with everything we needed to cook, play games, celebrate and sleep well. There was plenty of space indoor and outdoor. Just the loveliest stay! Our host Deirdre was absolutely delightful, welcoming and thoughtful. She responded quickly to questions before and during our stay. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we are in the area.

Excellent house to stay in. Clean, homey, comfortable. Great for large groups! Dierdre is a wonderful host, very accommodating and lives next door. And I can’t forget the fresh flowers!

Thank you so much for your gracious hospitality. Our family enjoyed every moment in your home. Very well stocked kitchen and home. Tidy, modern amenities and a great place for family gatherings. We visited both the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher from this location while continently located 30 minutes from downtown Galway.

Wonderful stay at Teach na Mara!

Spacious, clean family home was a wonderful stay for our large family. Fully stocked kitchen made for easy cooking at the house. Plenty of good pubs within 30 minute drive. 30 minutes and an easy drive to downtown Galway. 30 minutes access to the Rossaveel ferry for the Aran Islands. Deirdre was a great host and communicative! Thanks for a great stay.

Our stay at Deirdre’s home was a joy and she is an outstanding host! A great location—off the beaten path, but close to many activities. A beautiful, spotless, and well laid out house. And, she was as welcoming and thoughtful as one could ask for in a host. Everything was perfect.

Lovely countryside lodging

This is a lovely house in the Irish countryside. It has lovely decorations, was well furnished, and very comfortable. Dièdre was very responsive and helpful. Getting to the house takes a bit of doing, but the location is quiet and is great for taking walks.

Family Vacay to Ireland

The outside photos do not let on to the beautiful and spacious interior. The property is well maintained and served all our needs. We had a family of 11 age 1 to 63 and there was ample space for sleeping, reading, eating, laundry, cooking and family fun. A perfect location for us to gather away from home and visit a lovely island.The outside space provided beauty, calm, and relaxation. Plenty of space for parking.Great location for visiting the West Coast of Ireland.

Great stay over Christmas

We stayed for a week over the Christmas and the house was very comfortable. Deirdre had the house beautifully decorated which meant it felt like a home away from home. It is a great size house with 6 very spacious bedrooms. The kitchen and living area worked very well particularly for children playing around. We would highly recommend a stay at Deirdre’s house. It will not disappoint.

Lovely & Comfortable Property

Stayed with friends while visiting a resident of Ireland. It was a vacation for everyone. The house was lovely, well decorated and comfortable. We also appreciated the nice touches like our welcoming cake, etc. The house was also well-stocked. The only comment I would make is that the house is a bit remote.

Wow, what a house ! Spotless, seemed brand new - modern and spacious for 8 plus. Host was so welcoming and helpful! Check in and out was simple. Outdoor space of this property was amazing. Deidra was so friendly and fun, we wanted to have her join our group - great recommendations for things to do, places to go and restaurants, pubs etc. Thank you again !
