Vous ne manquerez pas les commodités offertes dans les grandes maisons. La cuisine mise à jour a des armoires personnalisées, des comptoirs en granit et des appareils en acier inoxydable. Le salon offre la vue que vous souhaitez pour des vacances en Floride. Jewel of Port St. Joe

This house is perfect! Great location and excellent size - not 3 or 4 stories like neighboring houses. It's the only house on the strip with a partially covered pool, which is awesome because you can swim if it's just raining or you can get out of the sun and not fry! The management group was a great communicator and very responsive.

Overall the stay was enjoyable. There were some issues during our stay. When we arrived the pool and hot tub had not been cleaned and the hot tub never worked. The refrigerator had some issues. I did call about this and the pool and hot tub were cleaned pretty quickly afterwards. However, the hot tub never did get fixed, this was ok with our group as we had the pool still. The only thing I would really recommend is to have had some communication about the hot tub that there was an issue that could not be fixed during our stay as I spent time filling it up with water twice and did not realize there was an issue at first. The refrigerator was looked at pretty quickly and seemed to work better after. We still had a great time and enjoyable stay.

Great little house!

We loved the location of this precious little house. We loved how secluded it was on the actual beach; there weren’t many people around at all! The main issues we had were the cleanliness and the AC in the house. Cleanliness: there was a urine stain on the dust ruffle of the master bedroom and there was dog hair EVERYWHERE; inside and out. AC: we kept the doors closed and all lights off during the day, but it would get SO hot in the house. It stayed around 78 in the house at all times, and the master bedroom never once cooled down—which made sleeping so uncomfortable. Even with the heat and dog hair, we had a wonderful time!

Nice get away

Reviewer Comments: The home is in great location and it is a great place to stay with dogs. Loved the pergola over the dining area on the deck. But, the home has a lot of things in need of repair: front porch light was out, light over stove is out, broken chair on the deck, sprayer at kitchen sink is broken, dishwasher falls out when you open the door, face plate on refrigerator falls off when you close the door, light out on back porch, green mold around the front door, headrests broken off in the hot tub - house just needs some upkeep!

We love Indian Pass

The house was great. Was exactly what we wanted. Our biggest complaints were the shower heads had no water pressure. We took them off and cleaned them and it helped some. The maintenance guy that came said he’d have to order new ones. There was also zero lights over the pool and the carport area. Again the guy came and said they would have to order new light bulbs. Thankfully my husband brought a light we were able to plug up outside. All in all great memories were made and we had a fabulous week! We’re looking to book again next year. May get a bigger house but plan to book through this company! This was our second year booking through Cape and Coast!

Good rental - but be leery of this rental company

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: By the sea was nice inside and a great location. The outside needs some TLC with the patio chairs rusted and piled up in the corner of the deck. Less than 24 hours into our week rental we received an email from Patti Brekowski at Cape and Coast informing us the neighbors had complained about our language and actions on the beach. We are four retired law enforcement officers in our 50s and 60s and replied we would be cognizant of our language but we had no clue what she was referring to regarding our actions on the beach. Although we left a voice mail and sent two emails indicating we wanted to discuss this further, Patti totally ignored us. Quite an example of impartiality and poor customer service that really put a damper on our week vacation.

As the property manager it is our responsibility to ensure everyone has a good time during their vacation. We appreciate all of our guests and we try to be as polite and impartial as we can when a situation like this arises. It’s important to remember that this is a family-oriented area. So when it is reported multiple times by several neighbors that your language and public actions were too lewd for the young children on our beaches, we had to say something. Thank you for your response to the language, we just wish you were able to understand which actions you were performing that should not have been viewed by children, without a full description or us having to be further involved. As I'm sure most people would agree, this as an uncomfortable situation Patti was placed in and we feel she handled it with grace and professionalism.

Christmas at the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Decent beach house. Could use some updating but beds were decent. Kitchen needs to be useful. There wasn't one knife in the place that could cut butter. Seriously. Cooking Utensils are cheap & old. I was glad I did take a few things from home to use. Other than that, everything we needed was there. The hot tub was nice since the weather was cooler. Our first trip away at Christmas with grown children. It would be nice if there was a gate on the deck to keep the pups in. Also, some really dangerous seating on the deck that needs to be removed. Our experience with dining wasn't great but it was holiday. We ate best when we bought the seafood and cooked it ourselves. Nice area of FL and we will return to the area again. Bikes were a huge plus. Previous renters had left some propane for grill which was nice and a plus.

We keep a large amount of inventory on hand and would have gladly brought you any needed items, but we will ensure that the needs are met. We have removed the seating that you referenced, thank you for letting us know about them. We are also glad that you enjoyed using the grill, but the owners are the ones that furnish the propane for guest use. You will find that provided for every stay. It is a cozy little house right on the beach, great for 3-6 people. This time two friends and I stayed for 2 weeks. We had a great time walking on the beach and eating seafood at the many local restaurants. The rental agency responded promptly to our issues. I have and will continue to recommend this house and Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals to my friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful view. Super location, just a few steps to the beach. Deck was large and great for star gazing at night. However, it is need of some maintenance and improvements. Chair in the master should be replaced. "Leather" peeling off. Towel hooks in the bathrooms instead of plastic peel and stick. Front door electronic lock was falling off. Kitchen faucet was missing the aerator so water sprayed everywhere. Needs a light over the stove. Hinge on living room door to the deck was coming off. Parking wasn't great. Under the house is all sand instead of a concrete pad so you were dragging sand into your car all the time. Plus there is only one driveway for one car to park under the house. You have to drive over the grass to park in the other spot. A door to the master bathroom and blinds on the door in second bedroom would be nice. No doors on the closets (?) AC airflow to master very low. Overall, if those issue were addressed, it would be an excellent rental.

Family Vacation

We had a fantastic time at this home. Layout was great and the large deck gave us plenty of room. Our dog was not only welcomed in the home but on the beach as well. Taking a later week allowed us to avoid the crowds. Will definitely go back.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was not cleaned properly. The house moves when you walk in it. The shower in the smaller bath room had no water pressure so we all had to use the master shower which we had to call about shower head in that bathroom. They replaced it and in a day or so it was spraying everywhere. The front door has a huge gap at the bottom you can actually see through. The WiFi didn’t work the last two days we were there. Not enough silverware or cooking utensils. The hot tub cover is falling apart and there is a rusty chair beside it that a child could possibly get cut on.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a basic rental house in a beautiful location. The house itself is not well-furnished, the beds are very hard and uncomfortable, and the furnishings are basic, at best. For example, some of the pots have teflon chips and we didn't feel comfortable using them. Also, an internal alarm went off (smoke alarm?) one night, which was irritating. For parking underneath the house, there is so much sand built up that our golf cart got stuck and our regular car almost got stuck.

We do apologize for the issues you experienced while at By The Sea. We have taken this feedback and replenished the kitchen items accordingly. Great news for By The Sea, the new owners are planning on doing a massive renovation to the grounds of the property in the fall, including adding a pool, paved parking for underneath the house, adding a bathroom down there, and more. We hope to see you back next year to enjoy those upgrades!

Cozy but needs attention

Nice House With Lots of Issues

The house is very nice in a great location. However, there were several issues during the week that interrupted our vacation. The day we were arriving, I received an email saying that maintenance was waiting on a part that had been ordered for the hot water heater, and that we shouldn't shower while the dishwasher or anyone else was showering. Maintenance came out twice to fix it, and it was finally fixed on Wednesday. They only supply you with one towel, hand towel, and wash cloth per person for the week. Having no hot water to wash them, we requested additional towels and never received them. It is silly that there are no extra towels or blankets in the house. My son wanted to sleep on the couch one night and there are no extra blankets in the house to be found. The water pressure in the kitchen sink is ridiculous!!! It trickles out. I have a photo, but not able to upload it to this review. Maintenance came out to fix it, but said that it needed to be replaced. It never was replaced while we were there. The photos of the property show two lounge chairs on the deck. They are not there. The outside table shows 6 chairs. There were 4, however one was broken so I emailed a photo to the rental company. They sent a maintenance guy out to repair it, but it couldn't be fixed, so he took it with him....therefore only leaving 3 chairs at the outdoor table. So, as nice as the pergola is, don't expect to have a family meal outside if there are more than 3 of you. What ever you do, DO NOT park under the house! Both of our trucks got stuck in the sand. We were able to get one out, but had to call roadside assistance to pull the other out. The sand under the house is awful and your car will get stuck! Again, I have photos, but can't load them to this. The pots and pans were filthy with dried, crusty food on them! I know that isn't a house issue, it is a terrible renter issue. The beds are comfy.

Perfect beach house for small group

This beach house is absolutely perfect! The location can’t be beat. We were literally steps from the beach. You can see the ocean from just about anywhere in the house. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. Oh and the hot tub is basically on the beach. We will definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: By the Sea is your typical beach house with the living area between the bedrooms. Comfortable furnishings. The house was clean and as I stated very comfortable. The beach is wide and clean. And dog friendly! It is a beautiful beach. We found beautiful shells and enjoyed taking walks everyday. Great front porch for sitting watching the waves, they also have a covered area and table to eat at if interested. If you are a chef, the pots/pans, utensils aren’t the best. But useable! If you want a special pot/pan, I would bring it, they did have 2 stock pots though which we used for chowder and low country boil. The best surprise about our stay was Cape & Coast property managers. We didn’t have hot water one day and it was fixed ASAP, also we needed grill utensils which they supplied and brought to us in a matter of an hour! I have never experienced such great customer service. They were wonderful. I will not hesitate to rent from them again. Overall our stay was relaxing and enjoyable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice week long vacation at By Th Sea! This beach house was great and one of the best that we’ve ever stayed at! We loved the location! Loved the View! Everything was almost perfect including the weather! A few things that could improve this rental where you park and have to walk sand is everywhere so without concrete or some kind of other material it just makes parking, unloading and walking around in loose sand very messy! One other problem is the Hot Tub is very loud and keeps kicking on 24/7 to keep warm so at night it wakes you up and then when your on the deck it’s loud during the day! It would be nice if a person could at least turn it off when they want to but this cannot be done the way it’s wired! The only other issue we noticed is the dishwasher is not attached to the cabinets so it wants to turnover when loading and unloading it’s also very noisy and has a whinnying noise when running! Besides these very little negative things I would have to say this was my favorite beach house I’ve ever stayed and we have stayed in several over 35 years! Would love to come back tomorrow!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was pretty much as advertised. Only problem was the cookware was worn, Teflon cracked and worn inside pots. Only one skillet was useable. Easy walk to the beach. Overall a little expensive for what you get.
