An impressive interior design Art Deco style luxurious apartment finished to an exceptional standard situated in the heart of the city with unrivalled views of the city out towards the countryside and down to the coast. In a unique position overlooking the historic Cathedral and bustling high street in the heart of Exeter. No same sex groups and no pets please.

Situated on the 3rd floor (with lift access directly to the apartment) of this exclusive development, is the jewel in Cathedral Yard’s crown. The Cathedral and its picturesque Green are the jewel in Exeter's architectural crown. A popular location all year round with the Christmas Market an annual highlight.



The nearby cobbled streets are brimming with eateries, cafes and shops. England's oldest pub and hotel are a stone's throw away. For a modern dining experience, head to the city's new restaurant quarter for a cocktail at a rooftop bar or take your pick from a range of cuisines - Scandinavian, Middle Eastern or gourmet burgers.

The History



Cathedral View, originally home to Wippell ecclesiastical suppliers in the 1880’s, is a Grade II listed building with impressive original Gothic Revival features. Exeter Cathedral is one of the oldest and arguably one of the most beautiful in England, dating back to the early 12th century. The Norman Cathedral, which was replaced from 1270 - 1340, forms the base for the beautiful Gothic building we see today, with its famous west front and elegant nave. The city itself dates back more than 2,000 years and once served as a centre of trade for the Roman Empire. The old city walls can still be found in nearby Southernhay, forming part of the City Wall Trail, one of many historical walks around Exeter. The city also shines in the education arena with both Exeter University and Exeter College gaining national recognition as stand out educational providers.



A dedicated restaurant quarter on Queen Street has brought new restaurants to the city, with rooftop bars, DJs and live music, making this a firm favourite for foodies. Excellent location

The apartment has everything you need and is in a brilliant location for visiting the centre of Exeter. It was spotlessly clean with comfy beds and a great shower. Being the centre of town it can be a bit loud in the evening but as the bedrooms aren’t on the main high street, we weren’t disturbed during the night at all. We briefly stopped outside to drop bags before moving our car to a car park. It wasn’t that easy to work out how to get in to the road so some better directions would help. Otherwise, it was great

First class accommodation

The accommodation was really lovely and couldn’t fault it, very clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Brilliant location and even though it was in the city centre the bedroom was very quiet and peaceful. We don’t have a car so it was great that both buses and trains were close to hand. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we decided to visit Exeter again. Pretty much perfect so can’t think of anything to improve.
