Welcome to Skyview Retreat - A fantastic example of a 2 bedroom apartment that's at the very pinnacle of holiday let properties in the city.
Ryedale House is an exclusive, private development in the heart of York's historic core beside the River Foss. Skyview Retreat sits on the 5th floor and offers skyline views over parts of the city and a great view of open skies over the rooftops of York to the distant Howardian Hills. The property benefits from full, professional interior design throughout and does not fail to impress.
The tech savvy will no doubt be impressed by the lightening quick fibre WiFi that offers typical download speeds of 600Mbps and upload speeds of 100Mbps. The TV is an LG OLED 55" smart TV with Freeview.
Upon entering the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area for the first time you will be immediately struck by the amazing amount of natural light coming into the apartment from the floor to ceiling windows. The property occupies a corner position on the building which aids this.
The kitchen area has been designed to the highest standards and features premium Neff appliances such as the oven and induction hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There's also a high end Smeg toaster and kettle plus a lovely DeLonghi espresso machine. There is a large island unit and bespoke worktop creating a sophisticated and contemporary living space with breakfast bar seating for 2.
The dining area can seat 4 for dinner and occupies a lovely corner position in the room that's just perfect for taking in the views of the city or a spot of people watching! There's a floor to ceiling sliding window with Juliet balcony too. The high quality engineered hardwood floors throughout the apartment also have the added benefit of underfloor heating with smart controls.
The master bedroom contains a king size bed, feature wallpaper and large wardrobe. The bedroom also has a fully tiled ensuite complete with underfloor heating and walk in shower.
The second bedroom of the apartment again features a king size bed. Both the bedrooms benefit from having USB sockets near the beds and high quality carpets throughout.
The beds in both bedrooms are King size 150cm* 200cm with "Which" award winning 'Emma' mattresses.
The main bathroom in the apartment is again fully tiled with underfloor heating and features a spacious, luxury walk in shower.
The apartment also has the added benefit of a secure, allocated car park space onsite.
Children welcome over 8 years old.
