My property is pet friendly. Please read and be sure you can adhere to the "Pet" section on "Other things to note" before booking with your pet. Please be advised that there is an additional £30 charge for pets to cover additional cleaning.
The space
I am very excited to welcome you to my pretty cottage in the village of Birdham which has been recently refurbished, in the heart of Chichester Harbour and a short drive to the fabulous beaches at West Wittering.

The cottage sleeps up to 5 guests (one king, a single and a twin room) and has a family bathroom, a beautiful dining room with views over the field and a pretty garden which is completely dog secure to enjoy a drink or two.

Ground Floor

Enter the front door into the spacious hallway with plenty of space for coats. Just before that is a covered porch, perfect for your beach gear or welly boots. Immediately to the left is the bright and sunny sitting room with comfy sofa and arm chair and a 40 inch smart TV with the usual streaming channels available (please use your logins). From the hallway again you are taken into the pretty country kitchen which opens up onto the conservatory dining room, with lovely south views across the garden and field. The kitchen has a Rangemaster cooker with electric hob, a washer dryer and a dishwasher. There is storage available in the butcher's block and the French dresser.

First Floor

Upstairs is the king bedroom with views across the fields , a twin bedroom and a single bedroom - all with new beds and crisp white hotel linen. The family bathroom is upstairs with a shower over bath. This home offers the perfect getaway for your family. There is plenty of storage space with built in wardrobes and shelves.

Outside

The garden is fully secure for pets with netting covering the post and rail fencing and there is a large pub style picnic bench for alfresco dining. There is parking for two cars, with more by arrangement. Also by arrangement is the use of the EV car charging point (extra fee applies to cover costs).

Guest access
Guests will have the entire home to themselves, with allocated parking for up to two cars (more by arrangement). There is a bus stop on the road outside the house which will take you into Chichester, from where you can hop on a train to London. Brighton, Portsmouth or Southampton.
Other things to note
* Standard check-in time is 4pm onwards, and check-out time is before 10am.
* Please note that a fee of £100 will be charged for lost keys, and a fee of £50 for a call out if you are locked out.
*Please let us know when booking if you require a cot and high chair and please note that we do not provide cot bedding so please bring your own

Pets
One small, well behaved dog is welcome to join you on your holiday in the cottage, for an additional fee of £30 to cover extra cleaning. Please message in advance with the details of your pet (breed/age).
- Dogs must be well behaved and house trained.
- Please do not allow them upstairs or on the furniture.
- Please clear up after them in the garden and around the property.
- Muddy paws should be cleaned before they are allowed in the house.
- Please do not leave them alone in the property.

Electric Cars
There is a EV charge point which is available by arrangement and for an additional fee if you would like to charge your electric car.

Young Children
We have a travel cot and high chair available at the cottage. The stairs are fitted with a stairgate at the bottom.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
