Fisherman's Cottage is a picturesque and comfortable historic cottage located in Padstow old town. A couple of minutes walk from the harbour and renowned restaurants, including Prawn on the Lawn, Rick Stein's and Paul Ainsworth's, yet in a quiet mews lane.
Completely refurbished in 2021 this is a cosy and comfortable cottage with open plan living and attractive small courtyard. It has dining & kitchen areas and a comfortable sofa and chairs. Upstairs are a two double bedrooms and and a bathroom
We enjoyed our stay at Fishermanâs Cottage very much. Location was perfect just a short walk to the harbour. Lovely clean comfortable cottage with some great modern touches. Would definitely recommend The host was very informative about the area and every detail about parking before getting there .
Looks beautiful and is welcoming. We wanted to be in easy walking distance to our favourite restaurants and it fulfilled this with bells on. The only down side is the size and positioning of the beds in the limited bedroom space, in the end we opted to sleep in separate beds and bedrooms, which was an acceptable solution as a couple and didn't affect our enjoyment of the cottage.
Property had recently changed ownership. Both the last owner and the current owner transferred the booking over and we kept the same deal.
Great little cottage with everything in Padstow easily accessible by foot but far enough back from any noise.
Would definitely recommend this property.
Fabulous holiday. Really enjoyed Tintagel and the Eden Project. Rock really worth a visit.
Really quaint fishermanâs cottage set in the old Town just down from the historic church. The cottage very close to the shops and restaurants (make sure you book well in advance) and chip shop
(prepare to queue!)all extremely good and worth the wait! Best freshest crab ever in the Snappy Crab đŠ other side of the harbour towards the ferries. Found parking in harbour surprisingly easy if you arrive before 10am or around 6.30pm( although best to drop family home then go and wait for a space)donât worry though as you can easily park at the station but a longer walk. The Christmas shop is a must! Tesco in Padstow but struggles to cope, small Spar round the corner from cottage is handy for urgent purchases as a bit dear. K
Tesco St Austell best nearest Supermarket which is easily found after a well worthwhile visit to the Eden Project. Chough Bakery for pasties and pastriesđ.Tarquins gin shop also a must.
Cottage very homely and very well equipped, I believe bathroom being updated which would be good.
Although didnât need to use the Mgt Company I feel they are efficient and handy and accessible if required.
Overall would love to stay there again and wish all who stay here the very best.
Having grown up in Cornwall my husband has always loved the Padstow area. As a family we have been visiting Padstow for many years and our two teenage daughters enjoy the local area as much as we do. Being a dog friendly town is an added bonus and we can safely say that Padstow is our dog's favourite holiday destination!
Jon and I feel in love with the cottage from the moment we saw the pictures on right-move and loved it even more when we stepped inside. Sitting outside on the patio with a glass of wine or morning cup of coffee is one of the cottage's great charms and we are sure you will love this little space as much as we do.
