Tucked away in a quiet corner of Old Tolbooth Wynd, just off the high street this charming second floor apartment with 2 bedrooms can accommodate up to 4 guests.
The property also benefits from private parking in a secure underground car park, while for those travelling by train, the back entrance to Waverley station is only 5 minute walk away.

A minutes' walk in the other direction up Old Tolbooth Wynd and through the ancient archway of the Tolbooth, and you reach the Royal Mile with its tempting selection of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes as well as an array of absorbing historic buildings and medieval closes. From the Royal Mile you are within an easy walk many of Edinburgh's favourite visitor attractions, including Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle, Dynamic Earth, the Scottish Parliament building, St Giles Cathedral, Mary King’s Close and the Camera Obscura.

The apartment is accessed from a secluded courtyard, 2 flights of stairs bring you to the front door which leads into a pleasant, light hallway with wooden floors. The living room is to your left and overlooks the paved courtyard which is attractively planted with shrubs and trees. The room is very light and airy with a high loft style ceiling and is simply furnished with a 2 seater sofa and chairs arranged around the fireplace. There is a TV with DVD player, free Wifi and an iPod docking station. Towards the rear of the room you will find a small dining table with seating for 4 guests.

Next to the living room is a small galley style kitchen with an internal window into the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, a fridge freezer, a microwave, toaster, kettle and plenty of glass, china, cutlery and cookware. There is also a washer dryer provided for your convenience.

The 2 bedrooms are situated to the rear of the apartment, the Master bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed and 2 bedside cabinets and has ample built in wardrobe space. The second bedroom has twin beds and again plenty of wardrobe space. Both rooms offer attractive views up to Calton hill.

A bathroom with bath and shower over, toilet wash hand basin and large mirror completes the accommodation.

The garage is directly below the apartment and can be accessed down 3 flights of stairs.

Wonderful stay in Edinburgh

The apartment was just as described and shown in the pictures. It is in a quieter area just outside of Waverly but in easy walking distance to Calton Hill and other transportation. My family enjoyed coming home this cute apartment. Communication was quick and check in process was easy.

Great Location

It was our fourth stay in Edingburgh. The location of the apartment surprised us. At the very end of the Royal Mile, the apartment was in a quiet residential complex. The apartment was great. Clean and cozy. From the bedroom window you had a good view of Carlton Hill. We felt very comfortable. And would love to come back.

Great location & communication

Flat is in a great location just a short distance to the Royal Mile and a short walk to Waverley station. There is a grocery store nearby and the kitchen is well appointed to make meals in house. The neighborhood was quiet considering how easy it is to get to places.

Wonderful Location

The location is truly perfect. Close enough for an easy walk to anything on Royal Mile and train station, but just off the street for a quiet stay. The trains didn’t bother us at all. The parking was great and easy accessed. There is a fun pub just minutes away and a grocery store super close by. All was as advertised and we enjoyed having a kitchen, laundry and more space than we’d have in a hotel! We’d definitely use again and recommend to others.

Excellent Location

The apartment is very well situated being a block off the Royal Mile. We were able to walk everywhere. Plenty of restaurants and shops. The apartment was as listed. Photos were an accurate depiction of the unit. We had four adults in our party and it worked well for all of us. Communication with Anabel was excellent. Very timely responses to any and all questions. Super easy checkin. Definitely would stay here again!

A few short steps to the royal mile

Three flights up with a lot of baggage. Tight fit for 4 adults. Super clean. Great location for sight seeing on the royal mile as its only a 2 minute walk to get to cannon gate which becomes high street. All the shops and pubs and the castle are just a wee walk away.

Quiet, restful stay right off the Royal Mile

This location was perfect and so charming. We enjoyed the lively pub right at the end of the Wynde and did Arthur's Seat, The Royal Mile and Botanical Gardens by foot. It's really close to the train station as well. Kitchen had nice mugs and a small but functional washer/dryer. Beds were great and bathroom was a great comfortable size. Highly recommend this place. My husband and I were there two nights with our university student. She loved the cheerful yellow walls. Thank you!
