Apollonos Amalia Studio - Apollonos Studio

Perfectly located for business and pleasure, our apartment is right in the epicentre of Athenian life, just by Syntagma Square, the city’s beating heart. Set in a side street, the apartment is right next to the most central transport, shopping, dining and cultural hotspots, a few steps from picturesque Plaka and within walking distance of the Acropolis.

Our apartment can sleep up to two people. There is one elegant bedroom, a small fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. The bedroom includes a Sealy mattress known for its superior support and comfort.

Please keep in mind that this is a small apartment with just a window, with no view of the street. It is not recommended for people suffering from claustrophobia. If you need something more than a good nights sleep, we recommend you choose another one of our apartments.

Ermou Street, the epicentre of Athens’ shopping area is just a few steps away. Kolonaki, the most upmarket Athenian spot with high end boutiques and restaurants is just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment as is the parliament and hub of Greece’s economic and political life. Panathenaiko Stadium, Zappeion, the National Garden, Temple of Olympic Zeus and a host of museums are also within walking distance.

An ideal spot to relax and enjoy the city, this cosy apartment will ensure you want to return to Athens time and again.

You will be living in the middle of everything,at Syntgma in the heart of Athens!

Great location! Easy walking distance to the metro station, wonderful restaurant right around the corner, supermarket right across the street. Harry and Roman were excellent to communicate with and very helpful with suggestions of things to do. I would easily stay here again.

Lovely little affordable property in a superb location. We walked to all of the historic sites as well as the metro. Very quiet but also a block from the wonderful energy of the evening and amazing restaurants. Had everything we needed. Definitely recommend!

Great location and the hosts were very accommodating. The apartment matched the description. Just a few more towels would have been nice and a fitted sheet on the bed. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Comfortable bed, good air conditioning, kitchen could use a pot/pan for hot plate, bathroom was nice(spacious, washing machine, cool sink). Right next to grocery stores, restaurants and short walk to Syntagma Square.

The studio was great. Had everything you could need private room TV had Netflix, YouTube and more. to bad our cruise got canceled .Got to give pros to Anna and Velia. Velia had to come find us we were so lost, me and my wife Maria where walking for a long time. My phone had us walking in circles when we stop to rest I send pictures were we were at Velia show up we talked a bit, She said so fare away yet so close. Right were we were resting. Velia took a right at the next stop made a right turned, walk down turn the road. 3 minutes from the time we meet to get us in our room. What a great night of sleep. We did a lot of walking to see sites and got on a tour buss. I do appreciate Anna she stayed in contact while Being lost in Athens and our host Velia. We had a flight delay getting in to Athens. Then take the train/subway to Athens with luggage get lost I give Velia a lot of credit if I recall she lives a couple hours outside of Athens. She stayed and came and found us even though we were 4 to 5 hours late.

Apollonos Studio was terrific! We arrived in Athens at 1a.m. And were met by Yannus, who was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. There were no views, but we were out most of the time so it didn’t matter. Would definitely stay here again!

Although the location was amazing and the host and property staff were amazing the property itself leaves a lot to be desired. Photos suggested a separate living space for unwinding yet was not so. Bed was to low to the ground , no table on the right side of bed , really no room in kitchen to enjoy a meal or left overs or just coffee .could not figure out shower head usage so was confined to the hand held which was to low for a man of my size(6’ 2”) if you had a larger property in the area I would choose it because again the staff were amazing!!!

We are currently looking into adding clearer instructions for the shower system and evaluating how we can optimize the bedside and kitchen space for better comfort. Regarding the layout, we try to capture the space accurately in our photos, but we understand that 'feel' can be subjective, and we'll review our listing to ensure it's as clear as possible for future guests. This was an older apartment, located in a building with an elevator with a maximum load of two people. Luckily, it was just the two of us. As a bonus, the elevator played classical music while in motion :)Pros:- the host was nice and Constantina met us at the apartment to show us around and give us the keys. She was very sweet too!- bathroom appears to have been recently renovated- The clothes washer worked fine- The bedroom was a decent size and had hardwood floors. Cons:- Kitchen is in need of an update- Not sure if the AC actually worked. A big fan was on when checked in. Later, we tried turning on the AC, but the effect did not seem to be any greater than using the fan alone.- Our first night there, a giant cockroach came out from under the bed and, it took us a while to get ride of it- While still in Plaka, this neighborhood felt like a step down from our previous apartment on AdrianouOverall, it was an OK stay, but we probably wouldn't want to stay there again.

We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered. Please be assured that we have a professional pest control service treat the building regularly; however, in historic areas like Plaka, an occasional 'visitor' can find its way in. We have performed an extra deep-clean and treatment following your stay to ensure this doesn't happen again. Most importantly, we want to let you know that the AC has been fully inspected and repaired. It is now blowing ice-cold for our future guests. We appreciate you bringing that to our attention so we could address it immediately. While our building has the classic charm of an older Athenian property, we are always working on updates, and your feedback regarding the kitchen is very helpful for our future planning. Die Lage am Platz mit Metro Tram und Bussen macht vieles wett. Die fehlende Aussicht sorgt im Lauf der Zeit für Tristesse. Das sollte man beachten. In der kleinen Küche könnte man dagegen erstaunlich gut kochen.
